you know, dropping your things into a tent is a way to -- drop your things.. -- but it happend often that iM equiping myself with goods that someone else drop into HIS tent.. btw i dont use tents because i'm stealing them, no need of one. so i just had this idea 2 min ago, why would'nt we bury some stuff using an entrenching tool so we could bury little things, like food or something else that fit in a backpack, i Mean we wont be able to bury a car to keep it just for you ! easy and simple, harder to find,, but remember where you did it !

belive me a spitfire as strong they were, are just like any other mechanical vehicule against the sand, it get stuck, the sand is damaging everything mechanical to the point that if you really want to pilot a spitfire, it would be easier to ask the company that produce them to build one more juste for you ( and its at least 60 years that they stopped to produce this model)

but permadeath or not, somebody have to find your cache someday just imagine that you have been told there is a stash close to the electro church, so you go there and you see evidence of a buried cache, just because you can see it, no matter how you can see it, so you take your entrenching tool and take what you want and just fly away.. but this stash was built by you yesterday before you died and respawn
-
you are awesome ! <3

thats why i talked about the need of a backpack to put you stuff on it and then bury it , yes its possible but difficult to have 10 hiden backpack cause you would need to carry all these backpack with you and before that , find all these backpack and it would be useless to have as many caches when you knpw that if you die all the stuff you buried would disapear!

a friend of my have a server and last week we tried namalsk, he set the weapon spawn a bit lower than he should be and i can tell that there was way to many guns !
-
only because you want us to add something: i want to add to your idea to not apply it at all

since when a virus bring your body back to life?
-
but tell me, whats the point on having a buried backpack if its going to disapear after you died? when you put things into a tent, if you died, the things you put into the tent won't disapear, why would this be different ? if you remember you can only have a limited number of holes(buried stuff)at the same time!

if you got eaten by a zombie, the only potential thing we would be able to recognize is the skeleton of the poor Supercuate who wanted to see if his body would chage into a zomby after being wildly eaten. ooh no quickly buddy shoot this skeleton in the skull before he lift up and regenerate into a zomby

BECAUSE Posted Today, 10:05 AM but when you die from zombies , they dont have in mind to infect you to become one of them, they eat you because they're hungry so yep for finding your stuff in a 20m radius, but you have been eaten so no zomby you.. keep in mind they have eaten you so they probably dont ate your gun but probably bite your g17 and suprise its not flesh so he trow it away ! thats the point on having a limited space that is 90% safe because i say it into the post, me, i'm stealing the others tents, and there is good stuff to steal there !
-
right.... but when people have a camp and they die , they alerdy just run to their camp .. it will need some defined limitations !
-
so burying things must be really limited to simple object that only takes one slut unto your backpack what i think is that you would need another backpack to to bury stuff such as a coyote patrol pack (12 slut, not enaugh to a riffle ) so you dig your hole you pack up this bag of goods and bury it.. so you have a safe place for your after death respawn, so you got some food, extra bandage and kinda axe or pistol if you want to ?

just btw, do you even know about that game that is under developpement? called : Infinity universe, its been i think close to 10 years of dev and still only one combat demo that had been launched in 2005 and at least 2 kickstarter project made......... and still nothing to the end call me crazy but i'm one waiting for it since 2010 so i dont think DayZ SA have as much of pressure then those guys of infinity universe............

you gave me a super idea, with the electricity you would be able to start the water pump of a bunker on namalsk and then acces to the lower stage of the bunker, and even find some ''gold'' item ( not really gold but super special things) also if you find some amo from down there, dont be too happy because they'll probably wont shoot anything because of the water that had got inside -
no worry, i think it was only an allusion to it not a direct topic. btw you have a good point, and normally if we would be closer to the reality why cant we dodge an enemy weapon when he face us ? ( like bumping the barel of his winchester and knock him down ? that would be awesome but clearly a bit to much

i've read just yesterday something about it in this forum for suggestion edit: thats the arma 2 limitation
