+1 to the OP. There is too much elitism and gamer machismo here. Always more difficulty required and calls to remove any feature that is deemed to be too helpful to new players. Its all bollocks. -
Global chat should be a server option. Let people choose whether it is in their game or not.

+1 for server option as it is now. I don't understand why the people wanting 3rd removed don't just play on 1st person only servers. Why insist on removing 3rd person enabled servers? No one is being forced to play on them. It's just another form of griefing and elitism. Trying to remove enjoyment for as many people as possible. Sovereigns post is bang on with the reasons that 3rd person is needed as a server option.

The total loss of stealth is the big problem. Everything else I can handle.

I agree as well that the stealth element has been utterly destroyed and desperately needs reverting to the 1.6.0.1 system. It wasn't perfect but ten times better than the nonsense we have now. "DayZ 1.7.1.4 In a nutshell Its that time again. We are out of food, water, morphine, bandages and blood packs. Any attempt at stealth is fruitless, we attempted to fire fight our way into a small village to loot two houses, 250 rounds of ammunition later we are 0 feet towards our goal."

Too hard trying to find your friends

My vote goes to allowing you to spawn in with friends. The vast majority of every evening is spent try to find each other. Often we don't manage. I want to actually spend some time in game with them for a change. -

The loss of stealth is pain in the butt. It's hardly worth playing right now. I really hope the stealth get tweaked back to how it used to be. -
Agree with the OP fully. Each hot fix has failed to make the game playable again. stealth has gone out the window completely. It is impossible to sneak past zombies.

This version has removed stealth as an option. it is unplayable. I wish some servers would go back to 1.6.0.1 untii stealth returns as a viable mechanic.

Unplayable - Its impossible to sneak past zombies. Going back to 1.6.0.1 until an update comes out that is reasonable with the aggro detection.. -

Too much elitism. Too much macho posturing. People believing that have the right to judge what is acceptable negative feedback and what is complaining. ....and somehow always saying it is complaining. Rocket this.. Rocket that. Don't listen to them over there.... Don't go casual. Don't let the Carebears ruin my sandbox etc.. etc... It starts to get very monotonous after a while. -

Everything is agreed except the aggro range. It's fine. Just avoid their LOS and you are okay. Wrong. Avoiding LOS is almost impossible in many situations involving multiple zombies around loot drop locations. No matter how carefully and slowly I pick my way they ALWAYS get aggro'd.Proof: * [REVERT] Infected sight based on head not body direction (infected glace around alot, this meant that they had super view directions. Unfortunately feedback, when negative, is too often dismissed as complaining. You have to understand that negative feedback is also allowed. There are far too many defensive postings from people that are unable to tolerate criticism of certain features or builds. -
Zombie spawn timer broken on full servers. Zombies spawn in droves on top of you. FPS issues on full servers. Loot spawn issues on full servers Zombie aggro far too extreme. Impossible to sneak past them. Zombie slap-down insta-death too extreme. What is there to love in that lot?

Feedback: It is much too hard, in fact nearly impossible to pass zombies now. Increasing the difficulty a notch would have been fine but now it feels twice as hard. No matter how much I try, how slow and carefully I go it is impossible not to aggro and be beaten to a pulp within a second or two. -

[Report] Spawned in Wilderness/Debug Forest/Endless Ocean

Stuck in wilderness Ingame name: rotekz ID: 15149318 I was in a forest near Novy Sobor and the server kicked everyone. Tried to get in different servers after that and the kept on freezing at the loading screen. Arma had to be terminated to get out of it. Then I got into a game and it was the wilderness, just desert with nothing.
