  1. Personally I can even understand the kicking for admins or clan members, but if the developers dont want that then it shouldnt be done. What I cannot understand or accept is locking a 40 player server so 8 clan members can play on there in 'peace' and farm all the loot. This is not sensible or fair on a game that shares a central server database. If their gear was only on that server, I couldnt give a rats arse what they did. Unfortunately, it is not, and that is the issue at hand here.
  2. The reason is that since we all share a central database, those playing on locked servers with clanmates have a risk-free (except for the zeds) environment to farm all the loot they want, and then hop onto a public server fully geared. This is unfair to those of us who work for our gear. As per the server rules in the 'Want to host a DayZ Server? Read in here.' thread (link - http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1429); - IT MAY NEVER BE PASSWORDED - NO KICKING TO MAKE ROOM FOR 'FRIENDS' OR CLANMATES As explained in another thread earlier (by rocket I think, not sure), being able to host a server and get access to hive is a privledge that comes with certain responsibilities and duties. This includes making it publically accessible to everyone in a fair way. Seems that certain groups aren't interested in following those rules. Further details on where to report these would be appreciated.
  3. Is this sort of thing permitted? I've seen a couple of these but theyre generally empty, but this is rather blatant. Just thought I'd bring it up incase something needs to be done, or if it is allowed then it will be good to know. [attachment=559]
