I've shot at would be bandits which ended up killing them but never recieved the kill or bandit kill however usually this is due to them dieing while knocked out. -

So your sayng players who post bandit killstreaks and kill highlights are not misrepresent dayz as well? Both sides highlight what they enjoy about dayz also you can act like a nooby very easily. Hell Every time I respawn I act like one (in a Role playing aspect that is.). -

maybe try a non-hive server you self? also from what I'm understanding based on your comments all youtube videos depicting Dayz should be of bandit style play and not of friendly cooperation which can happen. -

depending on where I spawn, I just rush to a decent loot building and in the process usually get shot. :P

I just watched seananners minez video and what I found odd is that they only came across one person who went out of their way to kill them. Which I found interesting as to why more players are willing to work together in minez but not dayz. -

which point is bad? I mean custom appearances would be good, send tells, maybe in correlation with radios people can use voice over radio but players +5m won't hear you unless on the same radio freq? skills per life would want people to stay alive and group up. -

Basically the only way to tell is if you hear the heart beat within 15 ft, and even than you will be most likely dead before that. -
Well I'm just saying from a testing and design view point, its always good to know what players think and feel while they play and even what points they just say fuck it and stop playing, as well as the subtle reasons that cause them to give up, or why they can't give up.

No but it would make having them more risky besides players finding them

the pvp aspect is finished because its directly from arma 2 and needs no testing.
