I have to agree with zdb, but Dayz doesn't really feel like an alpha but more a Proof of concept. with all the meat in friendly behavior missing.

the actually chemlight object can be seen further than the light it emits, I've seen chemlights on the ground (no light just the sticks) at ~100 meters

Your right smart players wouldn't use any light source because it exposes they are near. I think one of the main reasons I have against chemlights and flares, is that they can been seen past their light range.

O.o so letting rocket know that some players don't like something is bad? I think its needed even the complaining threads because its a hell of a lot better than everyone just praising him. on topic: I play arma 2 vanilla missions all the time at night and can see a hell of a lot better in a thunderstorm, than I can in an average dayz server. (I have all lights turned off.)

I don't see how allowing players to grow their own food ruins dayz.

However admins have been punishing those caught D/Cing to avoid death not sure what you mean by "watch this space".

OP could you please explain why this video is bad, and what harm it does. I'm expecting a logical and thoughtful response, not some one liner or some gibberish. I mean if players are really roleplaying why say they shouldn't?
