This is the best option i have seen so far. Its so simple an effective im kicking myself for not thinking of it first lol.

I say no simply because in this game someone in that would basically be god, and to all the people who say yes but it should be really rare. I point you to the as50 in the mod, it was suppose to be very rare but at one point they were more common than an axe. My point is people will make use of every possible exploit to find one, and then another and another and another. Even with having a set number of them over the whole of all the servers, people will still find a way.

Personally i dont think an anti material rifle or anti tank rifle is necessary. Only because all the negative effects of carrying one are not there (currently). If they were implemented then yea i would be ok with it. Im not going to list all the negative effects i mean since they've all been mentioned before, maybe not in this thread but there all over the forums.

At this point, I think removing 3rd person would be a bad thing for the dev team to do. So many people have gotten accustomed to it that removing it, would outrage a HUGE number(probably the majority) of players. On top of that, the few people who really don't give a shit (myself) would probably get mad simply because the dev team started forcing things on us. People don't like being told that they have absolutely no choice and that they have to do something a certain way, especially when its something that they had and got used to having. The other issue is, if they remove 3rd person a large chunk of their player base could likely go with it. -Just typed that hole thing, then realized I wasn't logged in....thank you copy/paste

Your typical AK is Fully automatic. There just not easy to get in the US but in most other countries (non-industrialized) Semi-auto versions of this weapon are far more rare than the full auto ones. And I believe the devs consider ak's under the civilian side of weaponry. Edit: And gews beat me too it......

I remember succumbing to this dilemma in the mod, has not been a big issue yet in SA though. My suggestion, if you want to avoid being called "That asshole who shot me for no reason," go explore some of the cities, help out fresh spawns. You could try pvp, (Not shooting unarmed people on the beach, or barely geared people) Just a few suggestions, but really just do whatever.

I don't have a problem with daylight servers. I have played at night and personally don't like it (I favor vision) but the few times I have wanted to play at night it hasn't been a problem finding a nighttime server

I have yet to find a game that doesn't have this problem.

KOS isn't going to go away just because its standalone.

So what if for some reason I log out without knowing another person is there? Say I run into a building and he's sitting just on the other side of the exterior wall. I log out not thinking that I should need to log back in before 30 min passes because I don't realize I was near someone. Then when I do log back in the next day I find that i've died and lost everything because I logged out but the game called it combat logging.

Personally I like the m16 acog but the Lee is definitely next.

I dont like it and dont think its authentic. Realisticly i think the end of the world would eradicate the entire legal system. matters of law would be handled by differently by different people, and because of lack of resources death would be the most prominent punishment, that or abandonment. Just my opinion.

so um im just going to say it. A magazine is was holds the ammunition for a weapon it can be internal or external. so a hunting rifle that hold 5 rounds, has an internal magazine where as the m14 has an external one. Because a "clip" is used to bind bullets together, the magazine of an m16 is also technically a type of clip. you know if there were no noobs ever, then no one would play the game....just saying, but I agree they should either increase bullet damage or decrees blood.

I like the blind fold thing to an extent, same with the flash lights and laser pointers, but the acid...no Just to let you know, that wouldn't work, gasoline isn't flammable and would put out the flame.
