I dont think its been prior addressed but if it has i apologize. Personally id like to see dayz make use of computers with more than just 2 cores. I know thats what most people use but for people who have a quad core the other 2 sit with little to do. If the game made use of available cores that werent doing anything the game wouldnt be near as hard on the computer. I dont know how hard it would be or if it would even be possible, but i think if you could add in an option under settings to change the number of cores the game used, mabey have the option detect the number of cores you have and have it set up so you can select the least possible, maximum or somewhere in between, that would be best. that way people with dual core dont suffer and people with quad core can make use of their full processing power. If this were impleminted there might be a reason to have hyper-threading. Dayz could be the first big game that made use of hyper-threading (to my knowledge) Anyway thats my opinion. I dont know if its even possible, if so id like to see it but if not, then sorry for wasting your time.

This like he said every Core is basicly split in two, best for multi-tasking. but pretty much usless any were else. if you want to run like 10 diff programs at once id recommend it.
