    I like this idea it would make traveling around in the wilderness a bit more interesting.

  4. Combining mags is possible as mentioned in this thread http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=746 and I'd like to see it implemented in DayZ albeit with a time penalty or a requirement you have to be sitting down.
  5. Yeah M9 and MP5 rounds are interchangeable. I had both weapons at the same time and it meant that I had a stupid amout of rounds for my primary.
  6. I think I have a similar/same I was playing for a bit on an server earlier this evening and first spawn I'm back at the coast and couldn't even move so left the server and joined another. Spawned back on the coast again and I can move about but now my skin doesn't appear to be a normal suvivor one or have they all changed? In third person my character is invisible as well.

    Taking a holiday from Dayz

    Ha ha I found myself planning my players movements for the night at work today.
  12. I would prefer Game purchase only. Not a fan of Monthly fees I can't see "Free to play, buy your shit?" model working for DayZ. You can guarantee someones mum will buy them all this sweet gear this kid will join a server and get ganked and shitstorm from parents about losing all his stuff. I feel a major part of the suspense of the mod is the chance you may loose all your treasured items. The rest I'm not bothered about so long as I get a local server to play on and the whole thing doesn't become purely profit driven and end up with stupid micro transactions studio's seem to be so fond of these days.
  13. I think persistent map notes would be a good idea. After I leave and join a server all the notes I've made are gone. As well as noting key locations I'd use it to chart my exploring. I'm a bit or an Arma noob so I'm assuming this effects everyone or am I just doing the notes wrong?
