I use to sit at a campfire in the middle of a coastal road at night, greet passing players and tell cool stories. I never got shot doing that. -

I think the dev team of the SA shouldn't waste resources making a trailer when they're trying to get the SA to the public as fast as they can. -

Put it in your pack (you have to have 10 slots) then right click the hatchet in your tool-belt and click remove from tool-belt. -

I honestly don't know because I installed DayZ originally with PlaywithSIX and DayZ Commander easily lets you update it, sorry. I'm not very experienced with helping with these kinds of problems, but I felt that you receiving some help was better than no help.

Since seemingly no-one's gonna help I'll try my best. First off, to my knowledge the ArmA II OA Beta Patch is required for DayZ. Second, from my own and my friends' experiences the steam version of DayZ is incomplete, file wise, so I'd recommend using DayZ Commander instead. Third, if the steam version is complete you have to right-click DayZ then click properties, click Betas, and select the latest verison. If none of this works post here and I'll try to figure out the problem, provided if you give me enough details.

Instead of hopping between several server you should find one good server that you like, I personally play on Balota Buddies, they have an awesome community and have no hackers due to their whitelisting I recommend them because of my experiences on there are amazing. Also as a bonus many famous people (on the DayZ Forums) and some Forum mods play on it.

I'm not forcing you, but you'll miss an awesome community, great addons, and no hackers. Also I've noticed that DayZ Commander has a "Copy your GUID to the clipboard" option if you have trouble finding it. EDIT: And not to mention but many famous people (on the DayZ Forums) and the Forum mods play on it. -

I went thought the whitelisting process all that was needed on my part was Team Speak: easy just download it, my GUID: easy they even have a video showing you how to find it, an account on their website: easy no explanation needed (I hope), and not to have hack scripts on my computer/don't have a history of hacking: easy don't be a dick hacker. -

False, extremely false, you can do whatever you want when you're at the "endgame" I personally fly a Little Bird and offer medevacs, medical evacs, to people and be an all around good guy. -

Dunno, all I want is a playable, fun game that has more potential than the mod. I enjoy the mod immensely, DayZ is the game that provide experiences that no other game can ever hope to give. The fear (of players), the suspense, the adrenaline while fighting players, the heart-pounding firefights, it has no equal at least for me. -
