well, I recently got Arma 2 and Dayz, and I played the Arma 2 campaign first, and i was playing with 0 lag on high settings, but as soon as i got on dayz, i joined a server, and i was getting like 5 frames, so then i put all of my settings to the lowest possible settings, and still only got 10 frames, so whats the problem? is it my internet? if so how can I fix it? please help! because I dont want to build a new expensive gaming computer thinking it will fix it when the problem was just my internet.

holy crap thanks alot man, those are the only servers i've been joining, and i lowered my preferences in dayz commander to servers with less players. thanks!

yes im talking about the processor, but it goes to 2.8 GHz whenever it needs to, ie when im playing a game.

ok so pretty much what everyone is saying is the problem isnt my pc but its the servers? lol sorry guys i just want to know, btw my ping is 42 if that matters lol

here are my specs if anyone is wondering, i know they're bad but like i said, the single player runs fine AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon HD Graphics AMD Radeon HD 7640G 5.6 GB RAM 1.9 GHz

yea i did that and it runs fine, so i just cant be in big servers?

before i say anything, Please don't tell me to build my own computer! I can't and I do not want to tell you why so please only recommend prebuilt PC's Well, I currently have a crappy HP AMD laptop. specs are: AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics 1.9 GHz 6 GB RAM AMD Radeon HD 7640G but apperently my CPU automaticly grows to 2.8ghz when its necessary It runs dayz horribly on the lowest settings. But im in need of a prebuit desktop under $1100 so if you guys could help me out that would be great.
