Oh my god.. Yes.. Yes... If you increase the draw distance the FPS goes down.. I'm sure there are a few other ways of having a player not poke out like a sore thumb at 1km distance.

That has got to be my only problem with this game. Well, with all shooter games. It seems that when zooming in somehwere it is always easier to see someone in the grass or bushed than if you were standing near them. Using a can opener and cool looking helmets is neat and all but man I wish the Developers would make grass show up in a scope.

I started a server to play with the mods. There's a bunch of stuff in it. Some AI to kill and it gets a bit tougher the farther away from the coast you go. There are some empty towns to move into. I'm hoping to get a humans vs the game feel but we'll see. You should be able to find it on things like Dayz Commander if you search for "Gentry". The ip is 69.39.239.140:3170

I'm trying to institute team play on my server. What I've done is add camo and soldier clothing to the starting gear. When you get in just pick which team you want to join. I'm also adding two large bases to the game, one for soldiers and one for camo. Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

I thought I'd post a message here to see if anyone wants to try it out. I've added some things to the server.... Automatic refueling. Pet dogs that attack zombies for you without the annoying barking. City lights at night so you can get around town a bit easier. A cool bridge to Skalisty Island so you don't have to swim. Added military bases. I'll build your very own base somewhere if you like. Just find a good spot and let me know. Anyway.. I'm very proud of the editing I've done. Please let me know what you think. It normaly does. Q and Z raise and lower it too but for some reason the camera just sits on the ground for me.

Almost every time I use the 3d Editor the camera drops to the ground and I can't raise it up. I place a Center then a Group, then a playable unit but I must be missing something.

Of all the places on the planet to be overun with zombies. Why did they pick an unknown area like Chernarus?

Thanks Guys. So it seems you can just keep an eye out in the database. What about the guys who spawn in things like boxes of weapons or vehicles? What file could I check for that. Also, what string of text should I be looking for? Is there a "player name spawned weapon box"?

I bought a dayz.ST server and was wanting to check to see if anyone is hacking in my server. I've never done this before so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance CaptGentry

I couldn't find a way to just reset the vehicles. I just started a new database.

Well, I think that is you just shoot anyone you see you'll be missing out on alot of what's fun about this game.

Haha! That's the first thing I thought about doing when I saw they had a chinook in the game.
