Agreed the only KoS I've done was last night I was in cherno and climbed a roof to avoid zeds I was bleeding an got to the top bandages myself then just about shit myself 10 feet from me was a bandit with a M14 only thing instead of pointing into the city he was pointed at the coast sniping bambies so I took the lee Enfield of found and emptied the mag into his head.

Moreover next gen rations and MREs contain heater bags to cook the main meal and could warm the players character. How do I know this works cause that's what I use them for stick em in your shirt after its cooked your meal to warm you up NOT during as they get really hot.

I agree with Draco 122's list defiantly the body armor like surplus Kevlar and such for bullet protection and riot gear for bite protection obviously couldn't wear both at once. And yes a Bambi used the search function and looked befor posting!

I havnt had the three minute issue but yesterday my server was about to reset so I found a safe spot and aborted and when I logged back in there was nothing no trees no buildings no grass just textured ground, and my inventory was empty so I relogged it said I had died but I was standing there with all my gear over my own dead body :s then was able to loot all my inventory from my body now holding 4 bandages where before I'd only had two and so on, was this a bug or did I just log in as the server was in reset and suicide myself and magic the gathering come back to life?

So before I really anger some people me and my team have found several player camps around 10 tents and vehicles to be exact is there an unwritten rule about looting camps or is it fair game especially because they placed them in obvious areas like north of the dam... Of you honk that no one will go up there your all wrong cause everyone knows that's where people are guns tried to hide camps. So what's the etiquette.

PS I use vent and don't bother with game chat was just asking.

Ah ic so server broadcasted messages are to be in txt form to enhance realism of gameplay and for etiquette and proxy speak is for direct chat to simulate actually being able to hear them?

What is the big deal about talking on side chat, why is it so taboo? Does it actually affect the game or are people just being sore for no reason.

And I heard that if stand in the centre of cherno and fire an M14 and then leave your computer for 10 minutes you'll spawn in the chopper... -_-

I guess I'm a hoarder then because besides the HMG and the barret I've got almost every gun 60+ blood packs and 90% of the items but when I'm exploring I only carry an AK or Enfield so if I go get killed the guy gets nothing.

Run to the far north avoid everything find a player camp and raid it. Then make your own camp no where near it.

I say lets get back to the roots of zombie survival how DayZ was meant to be played if you can't buy it at walmart you can't have it in starting spawn gear, everything else is fair game.

Last night me and my friend were traveling down the road in a Ural packed with loot when suddenly a sedan whips by us, and immediately "friendly?" Pops into chat and we say yes and the car goes a separate way from us and we continue on, few minutes later near Gorka my friend lags out and I take the wheel and drive to a field north to wait him relogging, the I'm dead apparently shot. I respawn and madly type into chat asking why, his response being that he's been burned to many times to let me live, so my friend relogs and heads for the truck to take it and run, we ask him not to shoot he kills him on sight, so now both several thousand meters from our truck we sart walking and he asks us if we want a ride cause he feels bad so we say sure, he meets up with us but before we can get in his at the server logs everyone out and then it takes a few minutes to get back in now there are two cars where we are and no dude, we wait 5 mins nothing to attempt to connect so we take both cars he has no stash in it so no harm no foul wee almost in Gorka an he reconnects demanding to have his car back, at this point it's a burning wreck after we dukes of hazard it off a cliff and were in my sedan now. So we get back to Gorka find our truck intact and ditch the car (he didn't loot it or our corpses) we we say truce and he declares war for stealing his ride, we head north to the top right air base and start to loot, then bam my friend drops its him again magically he got to the top of the map apparently on a dirt bike, so I exchange found with him and after a few minutes he just continually fires into the hangar I'm in as I duck in and out and a lag round kills me after I'm back in cover, so I relog and find an M16 and he's still whining about his car, ( note a sniper in whose open on open ground firing at a static target tool 15 rounds to hit me once and even then it was a lag round) so then after searching for an hour he yells that he can't find our stashed truck and logs off. Who's in the wrong here, who's the bandit us for stealing the car or him for being a paranoid spaz?

That thread is for best kill, not first, semantics I know. My first was 3 days ago my first game never played DayZ or Arma before and I span on the coast and playing with controls remapping stuff and learning the inventory system and I hear a shot from a silenced weapon to I drop out of gear and see a guy running at me firing I hurriedly mash keys to get my pistol out he's now fired half a mag and me and hit jack shit, so I aim and dome him, he lays on the ground and is trying to bandage I walk over and empty the mag into his back. Long story short, of your gunna attack someone don't be a n00b even when attacking one.

I agree with Deli real life friends are best I run with 3 guys right now that I know in real life and we always wok together share camp vehicles and loot, others I just have someone shadow us in case things go south I've got overwatch.
