Look at the top ten best sellers on Steam. ArmA 2 is outselling triple A titles, and it's not because people want to play ArmA 2 (it is a good game, I'm just making a point don't send hate mail), it's selling because people want to play DayZ. In fact, I can't remember a time recently that ArmA 2 wasn't in the top 10. And with the DayZ mod on Steam the popularity of the game is about to go off like a atomic bomb!

Anyone know if achievements or stats are going to be added?

This is a question people ask me all the time. And I'm not sure what to tell them. The mod is awesome and free but is it worth buying ARMA 2 if the standalone version is on the way? Will the skills you learn playing the mod crossover to the new game? What do you all think?
