    Direct X folder missing

I have one steam key that has the DirectX folder, and my non-steam key does not have the DirectX folder at all, making my game very quiet to the point where gunshots around me are almost inaudible. I tried looking up DirectX downloads and copying and pasting the file to my non-steam arma, but that still does not work. I also know it is not my speakers or mumble causing the problem. How do I fix this?
  2. Haha yeah it is unfortunate, but lesson learned!
  3. Most of the time, a server restart will solve this problem. Until then, a quick fix would be playing on a different server as most of the time this bug is server-side, so switching severs for the time being should fix your problem. Hope this helps!

Arma 2 Beta patch opens Arma 2 not Operation Arrowhead

I have had a similar problem lately, whenever I launch my operation arrowhead on my other CD key it opens up in arma 2 free. If you figure out a solution, I'd love to hear it because it sounds like we are having relatively the same problems.

    US 506 - Admin abuse

The recent beta patch has taken care of the hacker problem for the time being. But I cannot stress this enough, please join our mumble for any discussion and we will be more than happy to explain anything there. We are always looking for people to play with! Multiple CD keys help

I followed on how to manage multiple CD keys, and I bought combined ops through steam and had a non steam version of arma 2 free and operation arrowhead. I exported the registries one at a time as the video said and had 2 keys in a folder on my desktop. Then I uninstalled my non-steam operation arrowhead and arma 2 free because I thought I didn't need them anymore since I had the keys. I can switch between the two, but when I merge my non-steam key it launches a corrupted arma 2 free with an outdated almost unplayable interface, but strangely enough still lets me play DayZ with all the required expansions. Is there a way to redirect where the non-steam key launches from or something like that? So instead the non-steam key isn't located in my program files but rather in my steam folder? Sacriel42 mentioned something about copying and pasting where the keys are located, but I don't know where to place the keys. I think reinstalling OA would work, but I don't want 2 copies of OA on my computer taking up hard-drive space. If this helps, I have some error messages that display at startup when I open the corrupted “Non-Steam Key”, and these errors are; Picture ca\ui\data\logo_arma2ep1_ca.paa not found No entry ‘bin\config.bin/RscInGameUI/RscUnitInfoSoldier/Background.type.’ resource title rscInfoText not found EDIT: I've reinstalled my non-steam operation arrowhead and it's fine now of course, basically I only have one question now. Is there a way to uninstall my non-steam operation arrowhead, and still be able to play through both keys? I'm sure a lot of other people have had this question and I'm sure who ever can answer will be able to help out a lot of people who are skeptical on getting 2 CD keys.
