DayZ Scenario: Would You Kill or Help

I'd defenitely help, moreover in this case, I'm a fresh spawn so, not much to loose. A possible way to team up for a bit and take out the DMR frenzy, or get stabbed in the back evenutally by the dude you just helped :D it's a possibility too.

    Huge Structures in DayZ SA

Sewers would be so luch win, and Rocket actually addressed the question. He said he would even be ok working with instances, but other devs wanted to do it properly. Would be awesome if they can pull this out.

    NO MORE BAMBIs!

This thread makes me dream of bars, locks, chokes, and ground and pound mechanics.

Can't get blood back from food

You seem a bit lazy there, here, I chewed the beans for you : http://dayzmod.com/f...mmunity-builds/ Which means, you're still under 4000 HP most likely :)

Can't get blood back from food

Look for the patch note, if I remember correctly there's a cool down for health regenaration from food. 3 min for canned, 30 min for meat, or something like that.

    DayZ Devblog 4th February 2013

I also read Rocket saying they will be able to respawn, but I also remember him in a video thinking about a way to try and find a cure for the infection (gathering props and make a lab), maybe just a thought, but that would be neat endgame content, opens up a lot of possibilities.
  8. I agree the 'average gamer' can feel lost in DayZ, which is kinda on purpose. And beyond the usual whiners, some complains with passion, whether right or wrong. This game awakes passion, because it's a passionate game, made by passionate people. I really see it (ultimately in the form of the SA) becoming a piece of art in the game industry. Indeed there's no real guideline ingame, no one to take by the hand (except maybe some other players), but the game is delivering a meaningful message.

    Silenced Rounds vs. Standard Rounds

Tried with a G36c and M4 (non SD), silenced rounds on them alwways hit above your aim indeed.

    Recording DayZ - Getting Started

For editing, some big names would be Sony Vegas, Final Cut, Premiere, etc... I'm used to Premiere although I started learning with a Casablanca bench ^^

    Latest News about dayz standalone

I'm pretty sure there's no official date nor time limit regarding SA. What we do know is, Rocket planned to climb Everest in June, not that it really means anything.

    Whats your luckiest moment?

Found a mountain dew in Berezino's apartments, aware of the myth saying, finding one is good luck, carrying one is bad luck. I drank it right away even if not really thirsty. Once at the top floor, I find a dead camo dude with an AS50, M9 SD, Alice pack and pretty much all equipments including NV goggles. I was so hyped. So thrilled, I wanted to leave the city as soon as possible, hesitate and finally decide I should at least get some morphine before booking it out. As soon as I leave the apartement, I have a zombie train chasing me, I see a wooden barrier, decide I would epicly break their path finding with a combat roll. I combat rolled, but didn't get over the fence... a zombie caught up, instantly broke my leg (i wasn't full on blood), I passed out, try to bandage once awaken even though I knew I was done and died, mauled by the angry mob. So I don't know if it was because I was carrying the M.Dew in my belly somehow, or was it the NV goggles, I always die 15min after I find a pair.

DayZ: Most Private Hives Are Not Real DayZ

It was a legit question, why do you seem butthurt and aggressive ? I admit there's no zombie, but you put emphasis on PvP, if you want early access to gear, vehicles and PvP, I suggest you actually try Wasteland as an Indie, it quite fits your perspective of Dayz. Also there's a difference between Private hives (often whitelisted) meant for more security, and Private hives with custom settings that takes a different path from the DayZ meta.

    Logreading in Dayz

Doesn't exactly ansqer your question but, I stumbled accross this vid: I assume if you run it in as a background program (if you don't have 2 monitors like in the video) it could help you admnistrate your server. PS: don't abuse your admin power ;)

DayZ: Most Private Hives Are Not Real DayZ

I wonder if the players who join such servers are aware of Wasteland servers. Not saying it's exactly the same, but really close to what they seem to be looking for imo.

Top 5 things the latest devblog told us.

I believe it is, I live in the next region, south of it. We have those 'flatland' salted swamps away from the cities. We don't have the crippled mansions, but there are few old WW2 bunkers, old traditional (50 years old) houses etc..., almost as good. It has this desolate feeling that fit well for a survival zombie apocalypse.

Top 5 things the latest devblog told us.

I thought estuaries was when littlerally a part of the sea breach into the lands. Wich often creates swampy areas. In my country we have what we call salted swamps. Either natural or mancrafted to retrieve salt. This would be the closest picture I could find : http://www.photo-drean.com/photos-aeriennes-des-marais-salants-guerande-loire-atlantique/slides/204-photo-aerienne-station-epuration-marais-salants-guerande-le-croisic-batz-sur-mer-oeillet.jpg Some of those spots are really creepy when it starts to get dark in the early evening. Although I also like the in land aspect of swamps. Can't wait for psychotic axe murderers in underwear, or people mugged for their clothes.
