I did answer. I told him a con of flying, its hard as shit. And then I told him some of my experiences with trying to fly and wrecking 3 times in a row to let him know exactly how hard it is. Its not something that your gonna jump right in and do successfully. I answered his question and everything I said was on topic. Sure, he may not of considered my answer "useful" but there is no need to be a dick at all. He hasnt even played the game but yet hes on here telling people that are trying to give him info (tho useless info in his opinion) to GTFO his thread. And its not like he said "Repy with tips only" or something like that. He asked about flying and I gave him the best answer I could.

Its funny this topic has been brought up. I broke my headset yesterday so I've actually been looking for low population servers. I suppose I could just stay far away from the high traffic areas and towns but it makes me way too nervous to play my Vanilla character on a high pop server without being able to hear where gun shots are coming from and etc. Same thing with my Origins server. It would hurt much worse to get my Vanilla dude killed but im pretty geared up with my Origins dude too and theres no self blood bags on there either.

Considering I could have spawned in the center of Cherno and not known where I was at when I first started playing (I didnt even know the game tells you where you are upon spawning in) I will say option 2 is the true story lol. I doubt any new player could knowingly make their way to Stary then Zeleno and then be invovled in any sort of epic gun fight on there first few rounds. Good story tho.

I died by zombies quite a few times. Also quite a few deaths by hunger and thirst. Being lost in the middle of no where thinking Im loosing my mind going in circles. Not a fun place lol. I remember one of the first times I got killed by a person. I was eiterh in Cherno, Elektro or maybe even somewhere in Origins. I just found a G36, by far the best gun I had ever found. The first gun I found that wasnt a Lee or Winchester. I was shot and killed literally as soon as I picked it up. It still hurts to think about it today. Te extreme excitment then extreme disappointment.

I see where your coming from. The players probably were bandits on other servers, maybe even good ones (Probably not because they would have done that on a regular server). Non-PvP servers are there for those who dont want to deal with bandits and are created with rules to prevent banditry rendering bandits non-existant on said server. The point of a non-PvP server is that there are no bandits.There cant be bandits on non-PvP servers. I certainly see how someone could label this banditry. But not in my book based on the fact it was a non-PvP. Good troll, yes. Banditry no.

If I find the rare vehicle that is fully operational and I have all the essential gear to survive I will take it if I am planning on going a long distance, say from Zeleno to Berezino or even the coast to the Airfield. If I am going to a big city or high traffic city I still park a solid 10 or so minute run from whatever city im going to so I dont announce to the whole city im there. Im some smaller/lower traffic cities I will drive right through and jump out at a barn or whatever to loot without to much worry. If by chance people are around its likely only one or two so if they do something stupid I dont have to worry bout 10 other people rushing in for action. Also if I am fully geared I will drive around looking for heli crashes pretty much avoiding all high traffic areas. When your driving you can make it all the way up to a heli crash before zombies spawn maing it much easier to loot. This may be an exploit but im certainly not going to go slower and let someone kill me.

Interesting, what do you do just get shit done during the day? And do you still logout with the full moon nights?

I usually go with the most populated server on my Favorites list. Full server if possible. On the rare occasion that every server happens to be under 20 players I will search for a new server and maybe even try out a new mod (If all my servers are still under 20 players after the new mod installs). With all the severs on my favorites list I usually go into a close to full server.

lmao This is very true. I was playing on one of those 1000 vehicle servers with extra aircraft so I decided to try to fly again. I literally wrecked 3 helis within 30-40 min. Made it about 10 feet off the ground on the first try. Second try I got far off the ground but I guess I held down Q too long and dam near did a front flip. 3rd try I did good for a second then somehow lost control and went crashing down into the woods.

Origins is pretty awesome. Huge cities with all kinds of buildings to go in. Military grade weapons are some what rare. Zombies are maybe a tad to easy to manuever around.

How do you light a fire with an oil barrel? I did not know you could do that.

You have a much better chance of surviving with self blood bags. With slef blood bags you can do anything you want and not worry about the consequences because you can just heal your self. Not to mention you can only hold enough meat to totally heal your self like once and thats with a good backpack. You go to the hospital and use those inventory slots for blood bags they are going to last you for a long time. Self Blood bags are way to easy. You really cant compare self blood bags to going out and healing yourself by hunting cows. No offense but imo you might just be trying to troll.

The full moon nights really dont keep anymore people on the server. Just as many people quit out during night. It must be the people who are out purely for PvP tht quit at night. Cause anyone else would love the survival and creepy aspect of playing at night. Its not a good compromise imo because its so bright there might as well be no night. The fun of playing at night is totally gone.

Even with all the military grade weapons and ammo we had in the 1.8 patch we wouldnt have enough ammo to deal with L4D type zombies. If the zombies behave how they do now in terms of not attacking unless you alert them but came at you as hard as L4D zombies once you did alert I would accept massive loot because you would need it to defend against zombies.

I think its a little bit too easy to find military weapons even since 1.8.0.3. Particularly CCO AR's. LMG's and Snipers still seem rare enough. But yeah I think the zombies need work. The part that gets me is they can hit you through walls and they can walk through closed doors. There should also be way more zombies in cities. Other than that I dont think they are too bad. Could you describe in more detail what exactly disguists you about them? When I see a zombie im generally thinking how to get around it without letting it know im there and having chase me.

The other day I had an M24 (found it in a fire station pre 1.8.0.3) and was running from Elektro to Solhinicity. I out of no where someone came thru some pine trees and I said bam and shot him. Simultaniously as I pressed down on the left mouse button while zoomed in I noticed he was unarmed and not just unarmed but doing the friendly dance. It was to late and I one shot killed him. Of course I apologized on side chat but im sure that didnt help dude I shot. The point is its literally kill or be killed. If you know you can 100% get away with not killing someone then by all means let them go. Otherwise you really cant take chances. Dont put yourself in positions where you have to take chances.

If I am in the woods I get like 80 FPS sometimes but still lag in cities with FPS in the 20's. It seems to be especially bad when near other people. Sometimes it seems to be very laggy even with around 30 FPS. Im not sure if 30 FPS is good but it seems to be very laggy when my FPS goes that low. Anything I can do in my settings to help the issue?
