Are you a new player looking for tips? If so I will state a few.

Well we have to have some kind of health regain system (or not lol). But I think Vanilla has it about right. If your low as shit on blood you can get a blood bag from another player. This also helps player interactions. Or you can fend for yourself and hunt for a cow for who knows how long (also taking into consideration you have a hunting knife and etc). Or you can try to eat 5,000,000,000,000 cans of food. So this puts us in a situation where friendly interactions and teammates benifit us. And it also puts us in a situation in which we value life because if we f up we have to rely on others or work our asses off to regain health.

I hate when people use God's name in vein.

It said I do not have the keys to play this server. To play this server remove listed files or get keys to play server. It had some files listed do I remove those files and if so how?

How do I do that lol

Ive got it in there and have it enabled in Arma 2 OA expansions. Now I just go to multiplayer and find the server? By the way thanks everyone!

Its not in with the expansions when I open up Arma2 OA. The file is a compressed (zipped) file. Is this a problem?

After I click on the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead folder I drag it to the ArmA2OA folder with the Arma OA icon?

Maybe I need to make a label?

I definately dont see gear degredation slowing down KoS. If anything it will make it worse imo. More reasons to kill. Especially if there are things like degrading shoes and etc. We are gonna have people killing for shoes. And if gear is destroyed when someone is shot then we that will just add to the KoS problem because all the people who kill others for loot are just gonna have to kill more people to get the loot they want. Rare ammo cut down on KoS? I think not. This will just make people kill others for ammo. Right now the main KoS issue is the people who KoS just because they have nothing else to do, not because people are over supplied. Take all the supplies you want away from whover you want and they will still KoS.

Im pretty sure on my Commander it say Arma Version but doesnt say anything about Beta patch. I could be wrong I cant look at the moment. In the upper right corner you click on "install/update" (I believe). When you open this up it will be on top and will say Arma Version.

I was playing last night and was jumping over fenches like I was an olympic hurdler. No pause just jumoing over in a nice fluid movement. Also going from prone to fully running with smooth movements. Ran a little up to another town and kind of forgot about it. Tried it again on the same server about 45 minutes later and was back to the same non-fluid, slow vaulting movments. This happened to anyone else? Ive never had fluid movements like this it was pretty amazing.

Can you descride Despair in a little bit more detail using Vanilla as a comparison? Whats loo tlike in Despair? Is there Self Blood Bags?

The people you lure in and kill are likely trying to kill spawn kiling snipers. Go out and PvP all you want but its your decision what types of players you kill. Why not hunt spawn killers? Go to Elecktro, Cherno or Bolota on a high pop server and I guarentee there are 10 or more spawn killers shootng anything and everything. Im not telling you how to play and I respect the fact thats the way you play. People like you present me with challenges and play an important role in DayZ. Just pointing out that the game is what you make it.

I dont think too many people use the "now what?" excuse for killing everyone they see on sight. People that KoS anything they see will do so from the moment they spawn in and have absolutely nothing. If I am fully geared out with my favorite gear, have gear stashed and everything I could possibly need then I would still think about stashing more gear some where else in case someone finds my other stashes. If I ever feel bored enough to hunt people, I go to big cities and shoot bandits and even let some bandits go if they seem harmless. Thats also not to say I wouldnt shoot a survivor if hes sniping on a hill at unarmed players. And if you go out and hunt bandits or heros your gonna die, so your gonna need to stash more gear. Stashing gear is never to far from my mind. No matter what, the game is what you make it. This is the beauty of Day Z. And there is always something to do.

It doesnt kill multiplayer but it takes a huge chunk out of PvP.
