I am extremely weary of anyone who messes with that kind of stuff in anyway to the point I would never play with someone who did. I know for a fact many, many other people are the same way. People have had there day ruined by this very cheat and others like it. Im not out to ruin the name of your server but I will raise a red flag where it needs raised. I think you guys should take our opinions of much more value and maybe even delete the vid because its probably a safe bet that the more people that see that vid and realize whats in it the worse it would be for the legitamcy of your server. Most people wont see that and just trust and assume you only use that in a private server.

Your making "Legit" out to be a thin blurry line when its not. Using any type of cheat crosses the line. Sure go into your private, locked servers and use unlimited ammo all you want but when do you decide to bring that into a public server? Ive seen for a fact, on video, Musty admin does indeed tamper and play with that shit and thats the main point. And not only that they put a vid out displaying it. I personally never want to play with anyone who uses an unlmited cheat, hack, script or etc. Regardless of what server it is and whether or not its locked, when someone uses that stuff it immediately shows me there mentailty.

Not one time have I insulted you or anyone else yet you try to belittle me and Weparo with insults. Yet we are still trying to explain to you what is wrong with the vid and why Hardcore Gamers wont like it. And yet you still insult us for our opinions on cheating. The vid combined with the insults have made Musty look like an immature community. If you guys (Musty) are lucky most hardcore and legit players wont make their way to this thread and see this BS. Not much more I can say here.

I suppose it is silly if you consider a servers admin putting out a vid advertising their server and the vid displays these admin using unlimited ammo being silly. To me its one of the huge issues of DayZ.

Whatever you say man. Honestly I would have at least gained some respect back for Musty if you guys would have came and and just said "We see where you guys are coming from, we shouldnt advertise hacking in a vid" or something similar. But the fact you guys act like this is ok really puts the nail in the coffin. You want me to go ahead and tell you my experience on a Musty Epoch server? No I wont because I wont rub salt in the wound. Regulate you server the right way.

I have zero tolerance for any hacks. And I especially have zero tolerance for any admin who would ever use hacks and then advertise it.

This has been pointed out several times and it makes no difference. Let me give you an example of how most people feel about hacks and why this thread will be hated...... If I am on a server with one other person who even happens to be the owner of ther server. Lets also say the server is locked and no one else can get in and this person is just doing some testing on his server or whatever, etc, etc. If this dude offers me an Infinite Ammo hack I say hell no get that bitch ass shit away from me. Then I leave the server and never come back.

Why so often tho? I just think less often would maybe add some more realism. Dead bodies everywhere ad etc.

Musty admin did their own servers, themsleves, the DayZ gaming community, and the gaming community in general a disservice by posting a vid of themselves using a hack and acting as if its all good. No one has done any disservice besides these admin.

It doesnt matter where the vid took place. Just the fact the admin accept hacks is an issue. Anyone who plays legit, refuses to cheat or has ever been killed by a hacker hates hacks with a passion. I think its suspicious that anyone can see that in a vid and think its ok. Im cutting this post off here before I start expressing my true feelings for hackers/cheaters.

Its not asinine at all. There is a video of an admin using an Infinte Ammo hack but its supposed to be acceptable because "its just a video". Not in my book. Even if thats the only time the admin as ever done that outside of that vid, just the fact they would advertise it as if its an ok thing to do is enough for me to stay away from their servers. And what about the dude they shot? Im sure he like that infinite ammo. Or maybe he was just part of the vid? Doesnt matter really. I'll take the video for what its worth; video evidence hacks are accepted among Musty admin. Hacking is one thing I have zero tolerance for, no need to say much more.

Your story sounds more like a miracle of two non-shoot everything that moves players running into each other. When put in either one of your shoes at least 90% of all other players would take a shot. To be honest I think you have to get killed a lot if you really use these tactics. You take cover first and find out if they are friendly later. You dont remain calm, stay still and prey they are friendly. Im never too far away from cover so I will keep my life in my own hands, To be blunt, I believe you guys may just be trolling in hopes you will see people try this in a game, get an easy kill and then laugh because you seen someone fall for your trick. Just like 2-3 days ago I spawned in Berezino with no gear and unarmed. I sneak my way up to the grocery store with the apartments across the street from them. I behind the grocery store still about 20-30 yards away. Im crouch walking and I turn a corner from around a house and see a dude standing on top of one of the tall apartment buildings. I stay still in hopes he hadnt seen me. Then pop, pop, pop I start getting lit up. ^This^ is the type of sht we deal with on DayZ. To say someone shouldnt immediately take cover if they see anyone with a gun is ludacris.

I have to go with a silenced weapon of any kind whether it be a hatchet, machete, Makarov SD, MP5 SD or whatever. The only other thing I may choose over that is a combo of hunting knife and matches. As far is what is most fun and comfortable for me a silenced weapon.

Houses and safes arent even the problem of Epoch imo. Extra vehicles that are ready to drive, Self Blood Bags and full blown military starting loadouts are the problems in Epoch. Some have more Vanilla aspects but Self Blood Bags are the main problem imo. No need to be cautious or careful and no value in your character because no matter you can easily heal yourself.

As soon as I seen the loadouts I was blinded by everything else. Im still pretty against any sort of starting gear in Vanilla tho. Especially any type of gun. Still pushes death match type of play. Still gives a huge advantage over unarmed players. Im even against starting packs. With starting packs you never need to make a decision to drop something like Painkillers, Morphine, a clip, food or drink. Dropping any can get you killed in the long run. Many times Ive dropped a can of food or drink thinking I would easily find some in the next barn or town and its got me killed. However these loadouts are very respectable for non-Vanilla servers. Any type of starting gear in Vanilla, whether it be a hunting knife, hatchette, backpack or pistol puts you that much further ahead. In otehr words your totally skipping a couple of beginning steps, for example you dont have to worry about carelessly running into the upstairs of a barn if you have a gun or hatchette. Very easy to die in the beginning when you spawn with nothing. And I agree that even spawning with a pistol pushes Death match play. You give a death match style player a starting pistol and thier first objective is still killing. From there everything else falls in line.

I suppose it is politics. What do you think about it being used as a tactic? Are you less likely to shoot a female?

Sure it could be a decision that gets me killed in game or maybe in a real zombie apocolypse if we want to go there. But imo, if I am going to hang out or play a video game with anyone I would much rather it be with a female. Thats why I would be a tad more hesitant to shoot a female, because if I am going to run around Chernarus or Tavania with anyone its going to be a female. And trust me I dont even remotely hit on them or say any of that wierd psyco stalker crap you always hear dudes say to girls. I honestly just enjoy the company of a female, no need to get wierd about it. And dudes like that act like that annoy the sht out of me. No better way to label yourself a psyco internet stalker than to act like that. And it has nothing to do with spending time with females outside of the game. I live with my girlfriend and she has work friends over all the time. This is just the way I have been my whole life. In 90% of all situations I would much rather have a female in my presence than a male. Outside of sports I play to fill my competitive needs, I cant see any situation I would rather hang out with a male than a female.

If there were a group of players luring people in with a female I would be the one to fall for it lol. I am at least familiar with the bandits on my servers so they would all have to change there names or it could be a group new to the server. Usually tho, I am not the type to be lured into any trap. I would never meet anyone on side chat and etc. However if the female in my above story would have been with a group of players who trying to get people to lead them to there stash, I had obviously bitten hard. Maybe the DayZ world did me a favor that day by killing me. No doubt stupid decisions on my part.

Was Origins with full blood. Had an SA-58 (my favorite gun outside of LMG's), Silenced Makarov, 6 cooked steaks and an AKM with a few med supplies to stash in a tent. I ran into one of the tall apartment buildings and started going up the steps. One newly spawned zombies was walking down the second or third set of steps. I ran straight into it and KO'd me like it was Iron Mike Tyson. The KO lasted so long the single zombie sat right there and ate me to my death. The server restarted about 15 minutes later so I didnt come close to making it back there. So I go t a car I had about 3/4 of all my stashed gear in and its gone. The night before I was going to transfer most of this gear to a tent that I had found a sweet place to hide but I was tired so I didnt. Well the car is now gone. DayZ giveth, Dayz taketh away. I had all the wheels shot out and gas drained so they at least had to work a little bit to take it.

I wouldnt say the current discussion is so much about Gender Politics but more about the advanteges of a female skin and decietful tactics that can be used with a female skin. Thats what I am talking about anyway. Out of curiousity, how do identify virgins over an internet forum? lulz

There is a good chance I would shoot her even if she was in a female bandit skin. I guess I would be a bit more hesitant if it was a female bandit skin (which would probably get me killed). I dont neccessarily see an advantage in a male bandit skin tho. The only advantage in the female skin is a guy might be less likely to shoot a female. And guys naturally like to be around girls so they can be lured in with a female skin. Where as they see a male skin nd just avoid them or shoot on sight. As for a female in a survivor or hero male skin, I would never know because I would avoid them totally. But if thats what they want to do then go for it. My only issue with guys wearing female skin is it can easily be used to lure guys in. Not even that I have an issue with people using this tactic I am just very weary of dudes in a female skin because there is a high chance they are using these tactics. If I fall for it its my own fault and I hold no qualms.
