I am getting close to a year on this game and I have never once been held up or anything close to being held up or even seen anything close to someone else being held up. About 2 months before I bought the game I started watching Jackfrags and FrankieonPC. Since I startd playing the game Ive watched almost every DayZ vid I could find, including videos from when the game first came out. In the vids from the early DayZ there were still people PvPing like crazy and there was no mentions of hold ups. Im starting to think these "Hold up dayz" are a myth lol. Its even unlogical really. If you die you lose your gear, if you live the banits take your gear and you lose it anyway so why would it matter? Either way the person will be in a situation in which they are starting over so I am sure most would try to hang on to thier gear.

I swear I have to mention the Bizon SD. 64 round clip and if you have two clips thats phenominal. 128 rounds of zombie headshots. Creeping thru town like a ninja. Zombies on Vanilla are a tad more difficult so this especially applies to Vanilla. Of course SMG's arent as good for PvP situations but im still not sure why more people dont love walking around with 60 rounds of silenced bullets, especially on Vanilla.

It may just be me but it seems like on the Vanilla server I play on (US3480) there are more zomies since one of the 1.8 patches. It could just be because the server is highly populated and others are causng zombies to spawn close to my area too. But sometimes I will sneak into a smaller town like Zeleno with seemingly no one around (no zombies spawned in before I arrived), accidentally aggro a zombies and end up with like 15 or even more zombies all around me. For example if I run into the store to get away from them there will be like 10 zombies in the store and a sht load more still all around the store outside. And Ive even noticed more zombies throughout the woods. They seem just to be a tad harder to deal with, especially in towns. Of course in a highly populated server this can be a pain in the ass to deal with (in a good way) and easily get you killed. Way better than easier zombies tho. We still need more zombies imo. The change could have happened during my time mostly playing Origins or maybe even my short time on Epoch. Origins zombies arent like Vanilla. I havnt played Epoch in a while so I cant speak for that but it wasnt like this when I was playing it. I even played some Lingor and the zombies arent near what they are in Vanilla. Maybe I just got used to Origins and Epoch zombies? Neither have zombies even close to Vanilla zombies. Anyone want to add some thoughts? We still need more zombies imo.

Nothing better than moving thru town ninja like and headshotting zombies with a SMG SD. If your on Vanilla I will trade a Kobra.

I don't think a pro would be niave enough to leave a sht load of gear in one place like that. The OP said he had it all in tents so its not like the gear was secure. A lot could depend on what Mod it was and etc. Was it Epoch? Was it regular DayZ with massive loot and 1000 vehicles? Etc.

Your last story reminds me of that scene from Conan the Barbarian, where Arnold was being crucified and his woman finds him and saves his life. He is so close to death when he sees her and he is so happy to be alive and get out of there he just starts laughing psychotically. I imagine the scene in your story unfolding and this being you when you land that shot lol.

I agree Callsign but CoD Zombies is no where near a PvP game lol. Unless you count the new Grief mode but thats still more team and survival oriented.

Lmao @ I dun a woman I have nothing but respect for LeeHarveyEnfield just for the stance he takes against admin abuse, anything that could potentialy be used as admin abuse, cheating or anyhting that could possibly be used as cheating. I think ones stance on things like this gives you a real look at ones real character. However when it comes to DayZ he is a dirty SoB. If I seen him in game and some how knew it was him I would be forced to shoot him in the back of the head before he killed me.

How often should a server restart? I was watching some older DayZ vids and they were taking about servers only restarting once a month. The also said servers that restarted once a week or once a day are restarting too often.

How the f did the second dude get KO'd?

What effect would this have on zombies walking thru closed doors? I apoligize if the vids explain I hant watched.

If I owned a server, no way would I let a vid that displayed the use of a mechinism that could and has been used for cheating have my server name be attached to it. To each there own tho. This isnt an attack on you or your server, its an attack on cheaters, hackers, any mechinisim that can be used for cheating and the use of any type of these mechinisms in any type of situation. In my book when you cross the line to use these mechinisms then you've crossed over to that team no matter your excuse to use them.

What does other dmins have to do with the video I just watched? Sure all admin can do it, but I just watched Musty admin do it and display it on the internet.

Im focusing on Musty because I just seen an advertisment for your server featuring 3 dudes using unlimited ammo. Then you say its ok becase it was just for this special occasion. Well what other "special occasions" will you find it accpetable? Im not going out of my way to descredit anyone, im only politely expressing my disguist for any use whatsoever of a mechnism that could be potentially used to cheat.

Whether or not you only did it one time for a movie, ive seen for a fact you playing that in that very vid. You can try to tell me all you want you only did it one time and I can tell you I wont take you word for it but that doesnt even matter. The fact that you used it even one time is all I need to know in truth. The fact you defend it speaks even more volume.

I dont care if you only used it one time on a locked server for a movie. The fact is you did and to be blunt that crosses the line into what I describe has the weakest of the weak who would even touch something like that. I hate to start being rude about it but trust me I could say much more about the use of any type of mechinism that could potentially be used as a cheat.

Please understand my point; The fact is you guys tamper with that stuff and play that way. I could care less if it was a locked server. In my time gaming there is one thing ive learned when it comes to things like this, you either despise it or find it acceptable. Not much in between ground. Literally no one I have ever played with would ever use any thing like unlimited ammo no matter what the circumstance. Like me they would absolutely refuse to. It is becoming obvious which side you lay on and no amount of discussion will resolve this arguement. Agreed to disagree.

Whats not wrong is people will see that in a Musty and assume thats how you guys do things.

If you expect me to assume these people go into a private server, splurge on these powers and then leave it at that, thats one thing. But you cant post a vid of admin doing this and expect me not to think its sketchy.
