I think its all good. It takes some of the sting out of dying especially when you have your fav gun and gear that took you forever to find. On the other hand with the massive amount of loot u can likely find it again as quick as you can get to your body in some cases. On top of that picking your spawn can make it much easier to get back to your body. But I think its legit. Alot of times if you rush back to your body you will end just getting yourself killed. And if someone kills you then your likely not getting your stuff back anyway, they will either loot you or be there waiting for you to come back and try to get your body. And think its legit and an important part of the game. Knowing I have a chance to get my stuff back keeps me playing alot of times. The other day I made a 30 minute run across the map and literally as some as I got to my body and put my finger on the G button the server restarted. No restart warnings on the server I was on. It hurt bad, I had an M4A3 CCO, my fav gun (besides maybe the M14). If you couldnt get back to your body, it would essentially waste hours of play time you were on with that life. As it is now you at least have a chance to pick up where you left off.

The zombies are tougher to deal with than regular veteren servers. It seems like there are more zombies and the more you kill the more that come in cities and Air Fields. The bad thing is that the server is extreme PvP and pay to win and it seems like its set up specifically for the people who donate to pick off new spawns who dont donate. For example barracks at Airfields are right in the middle of the field so bambi's desperate for loot are dead meat trying to get there because they either try to sneak their way there and get picked off or sprint and if they dont get picked off they are swamped by zombies that dont stop coming. And if you do manage to find a good weapon 90% of the time (literally) it has no ammo with it. I dont mind it but I would say most couldnt handle it. Good loot is as rare as it used to be so that leaves to pay to win people basically running the high traffic areas with rare weapons they spawn with. This is the only thing I would change but its still not too big of a deal, if they want to play that way let them, all the better to kill them lol.

I think we can all agree the main reasons for most KoS is to protect ones gear, to gain someone elses gear and just shear wanting to kill someone. Regardless no one like to lose stuff. Maybe if there were some type of pentalty to killing someone, like loosing a piece of gear? That way people would be more picky about their engagements and would only kill someone if the had to. I dont know just a thought.

Well im done with this server. I said something on side chat about pay to win and shortly after my internet was fked up. I had to call my ISP to have them fix it. Coincidence or not, i dont know. Nonetheless I refuse to contribute anymore to a pay to win server.

Yeah it may just be more zombies but there were way more. And it did make them harder to deal with. There are so many zombies that no matter where you go you have to watch that shit and it was awesome. I mean you really have to worry about zombies (unless you have a custom loadout and dont have to worry about loot).

Ive been playing since Feb. Maybe it was like this back then and I didnt realize it with my inexperience. I know when for a fact whn I first started playing loot and good weapons were far harder to find. Similar to this server. And I remember zombies would just keep coming too but not in the numbers on this server. And sorry guys I dont know how to link but the server is Planet-Dead and the website is Planet-Dead.com. Didnt want to seem like I was advertising. And in the description it doesnt just describe it as a Veteran server but it says Veteran CH:ON. Does anyone know what that means? I assumed it has something to do with the tougher zombies.

I dont think lack of death messages lead to player decline but lack of side chat did.

Side chat is fine and not even unrealistic as there are open radio waves that people could use in real life to communicate in a similar manner. As far as death messages, I dont know there are positives and negatives about both but I guess I would say no for the extra realism.

Putting it that way sounds bad. I guess my main point is the harder zombies seems to take some of the KoS out of the game other than the pay to winners. Would love to find a server like this without the pay to win, maybe even with harder zombies. Its true to pay to win people are the huge negative about this server. The tough zombies adds more reason to play the game than just killing people and it gives more reason to team up with someone when you seen run into somebody. Ive seen people make this suggestion in the past and really didnt think it was the answer. But when I got in there and experienced it was different. You dont see things like two people with Winchesters going at it. I in fact seen someone run across a field to help someone trapped in barracks by 20+ zombies. I seen the dude trying to help run to a bush to bandage and type in side chat "Dude in barracks, gotta bandage im trying to help". Ive never seen anything like that. They got out and took off and I tried to catch up with them but lost them. Even if I seen a bandit with a Whinchester I didnt shoot him (thats just me im sure most would shoot any bandit). I would bet 90% of regular players on this server wouldnt KoS someone they seen with a Winchester.

And the pay to win people are easy to avoid because they are all on the coast trying to kill bambis. So stay off the coast and your all right and really who stays on the coast any way unless your trying to PvP. Im working on getting a camp going with all kinds of sht then going back to kill the pay win people.

What makes it awesome is the zombies are more challenging than even the regular veteren servers. The extra challenge seems to bring about less PvP between the non pay to win players. If you run into someone trying to loot a town and they have literally 30 zombies chasing, one thinks damn i know how you feel. I agree pay to win is weak but the only thing that makes that relevent is the low loot and harder zombs. I think much harder and more zombies is the way to go with this game. Sure there will still be bandits but I think most people wont shoot someone who is being chased by 30 zombies they cant get away from.

They are snipers, thats what they do is snipe. They are no different from any other KoS player.
