I dont make "friends" with everyone I meet either. However if I run into someone who is friendly and we run together for a little bit I see that has as being very fortunate and very rare. So when I do run into someone and we stick together for a while then they kill me over a gun or whatever, those can be the deaths that hurt the worste. Especally becaue im the type that would give my up primary weapon to a partner if they wanted it and split my gear. If you enjoy f'ing people over and stabbing them in the back then thats what you enjoy I suppose. I definately dont see the fun in it and its definately not in my mentality video game or not.

To go to the brink of death and be able to heal yourself back is unrealistice. Having someone bring you back from the brink of death is more realistic. Having a blood bag bring you back to full health after any injury is unrealistic. Self blood bagging yourself back to full health from any injury no matter how serious is one of the least realistic things in the game.

I still play and mostly Vanilla at that. Dont know why anyone would play anything else. Actually I do know why people play other mods, its easier to PvP. No need to avoid PvP situations because if you F up you can just heal yourself all up. No need to worry about sprinting into barracks to get a gun because if you get swamped by zombies you can just heal your self up. Self blood bags takes away from the game imo. It takes away from the value of your life. You f up and you can just heal yourself. No need to be careful, cautious, avoid gun battles or etc. Makes the game easy mode. Self Blood Bags are the worste thing to happen imo. Taes the real survival aspect way out of the game.

Yeah total dick move. This is one thing about about a video game that I dont think can be fixed. In the video game scenario you look at his gear, see what he has and it benifits you more to kill him to take it. In a real life scenario it would benifit you more to keep the friend and have someone to watch your back and help you out.

I wouldnt even call it cheap because I would say a large portion of the communty run there settings on low because the have to but yet there PC's are still good enough to run the game smooth on low settings. To me this makes it fair game. Its like saying its ok for people who have a PC that cant run on high settings, but is still good enough to run smooth on low, to have this advantage but its not ok for everyone else. I read somewhere that someoneuses it to help find loot at heli crash sites.

If there playing on a PC that can run smooth on low settings with no lag and etc then they would have a huge advantage. If they are on a PC that lags no matter what of course they will be at a disadvantage no matter what due to low FPS and lag. So yes it is like saying people playing on better PC's cant have this advantage but others can. If you want to choose grahics over the smarter setting then do so. I go with graphics but I wouldnt think less of anyone who went with a smarter setting.

I understand what your saying. My reasoning tho is why is it fair for people who have no choice but to play on low settings to see everyone in the woods when no one else can see them? People who have to play on low settings have really been granted a blessing in disquise. I play on high settings just to have the better graphics but I wouldnt be upset if I had no choice but to play on low just for this reason. The smart move would be to put my settings on low. I dont think its fair to say that people who have to play on low settings can have this advantage (even tho they have no choice) but then say its unfair for someone else to have that same advantage just because they can run on higher settings. Its like saying the person with the better PC has to put themselves at a disadvantage.

Not really. Its a well known, easy to use exploit that you are at a disadvantage if you dont use because everyone else is using it. If your in the woods you would be stupid not to use it. If you dont everyone will be able to see you while you cant see them. Im not one to agree with exploits that give players an adantage but imo this one is fair game. Too well known, too easy to use and too many other people use it.

I would in no way say its just fine. Even if your the best melee artist in DayZ you have to admit its a broken system. I can be inside with one zombie directly in front of me and kill that zombie in one blow but the zombie still hit me twice before it dies. And if there are people out there who can consistantly kill a zombie with a melee weapon outside and not get hit then I take my hat off to you. If I am 1v1 against a zombie outside its a gaurentee that zombie is gonna hit me 3 or more times even if I kill it in the first swing. imo the melee system is so bad its unrealistically bad. But if melee was good perhaps it would make the game too easy so it should stay that bad?

I think they say low settings are better. I havnt experiemented with it so im not sure. If you find anything out let me know.

Something else that can make the SA is when you shut a door a zombie cant walk right through it as if the zombie is a ghost.

Thats got to be one of the easiest ways to kill people. Lure them in with offers of friendship and then kill them. Maybe even be friendly at first so the person lets down there gaurd so you can shoot them in the back of the head with no resistance. What makes it even easier to kill people in this manner is that most people who fall for these tricks are noobs. I have more respect for spawn killers in Bolota who have custom loadouts.

Just because they have a bandit skin doesnt mean they kill everything they can a all cost, kill unarmed survivors or etc. One can easily get a a bandit skin from just killing survivors that shoot first. I would almost say its harder to not get a bandit skin than it is to get a bandit skin, especially if you stay alive for long periods of time. No matter how hard you try to not kill people its like 95% of players leave you no choice. I run into people who have no more than an axe when I have an AR and they come at me swinging. I will even run to try to avoid killing them but they just keep coming to the point I have to shot them. Like the sole reason they play is to kill people and nothing else crosses their mind from the moment they spawn.

That kind of makes it worse lol. He could have killed you when you were totally defenseless. The whole "He would have done the same to you" excuse cant be used because he didnt do the same to you when he was in the situation.

I apologize, I honestly half way meant that as a joke. Doesnt excuse the derogatory language tho. With that being said these types of players are the dirtiest/worste type imo. However I guess these players do help the DayZ world go round. Just feeding into the whole hero vs bandit rivalary.

Your a basterd. Similar situation happened to me the other day excpet I was the guy who got shot. What makes you even more of a basterd is you followed him around even tho he knew not to trust you and didnt want "on your team". And bam as soon as you got the chance you killed him. Honestly your the worste type of player on DayZ. Even worse than snipers killing unarmed fresh spawns in Bolota. You should have at least went at him when it was Hatchet vs Hatchet instead of being a pussy.

I wouldnt go, however I would sit outside, about 300 meters away on a hillside, hiding in a pine tree with a sniper rifle. Dont worry im friendly. And the tent set up out in front of your house in the middle of the road isnt a trap.

I miss the dark ass nights. They were creepy as fk. No clue why they would take it out.

It wouldnt be that hard. Get a camp log in and who ever is on is who you hang out with.. You will get to know those who play around the same times as you. Maybe have everyone agree to play only that server until they die.

Something that can make the SA is fluid avatar movements. My avatar dude can run 5 min miles all day but cant smoothly jump up from prone to take off running or vice versa. And hes a track start but cant smoothly hurdle small barriers. Also smoother melee abilities.

I hope they fix melee in the SA. Its broken really, even if your good at it and land consistantly you have to admit its broken. If there is a zombie coming at me, or even a person, I doubt im gonna miss when hes right in front of me. Thats not to say I wouldnt ever miss and Im sure if I was trying to hit a person who was aware and could dodge I may not be able to hit him as easy. But it seems highly unlikely zombie, person or whatever would be able to consistantly hit me three+ times before I even get two swings off. I dont think so, even if my dude was just that incredibly weak I still see it as highly unlikely even tho my dude is obviously somewhat beast considering he runs a 5 minute mile.

Just wondering if people want a PvP SA or a hardcore Zombies SA.

This would be an awesome game imo Call of Duty Zombies meets DayZ zombies? Yes or No? Zombies that come at you hard and in huge numbers like CoD Zombies and the ability to hide and build fortification in a huge world against zombies like DayZ?
