Theres always one or two things that are just impossible to find when you need it most. If its not matches its a hunting knife. If its not a hunting knife its a cow.

I got them set on high in the game but other than that I dont really mess with that stuff. I do have post processing turned off.

I do drop below. But even at 30 FPS it seems very laggy.

I half way agree with your post. What I dont agree with is most people on here are bad at the game and etc. Most people on here are the more hardcore and better players out there. And of course some get mad and hate on others when someone kills them then rage on here. Now thats not to say there are not bad players on here who hate on anyone who can kill them, of course there is. I agree about not understanding how people have such a hard time dealing with people. I guess they just dont have the patients to be cautious. You can literally just sit back and watch people all day. Not to mention you can just avoid the high traffic areas and generally be ok. If you want nothing to do with PvP then head off the coast, grab the basic survival stuff (hunting knife, etc) and go survive. Maybe these basics just seem easier to me because I play the game way too much lol. And by no means am I one of the best players. But even in places like Cherno and Elektro you can use caution and avoid PvP but there will be those times you cant. When you go to the coast you know what your getting yourself into.

Even if im in the woods and I con usually tell when someone is near by because I start lagging like crazy. You think it might be my connection some how? I got 15-20 down and 1.0 up

Vanilla and Origins. Lingor isnt bad becase the map looks awesome. Havnt tried some of the mods others listed but will try soon.

Considering you have a knife, matches, wood pyle, are in a desolute area to make a fire and not draw attention and a cow right by you then yes eating a cow is getting close to being as easy as a BB. Still not as easy tho even with the given circumsatnces. Killing and gutting a cow even if you have everything you need is still way more work than a BB. And if you are missing one peice of the puzzle (matches,hunting knife or etc) it can make things way harder. Theres been times when Ive had better luck going from town to town eating all the canned food I can find than finding all the things needed to eat a cow. Talk about alot of work to get healed.

Vanilla all day. Anything else besides maybe DayZero or Official Origins isnt even close to DayZ. Self Blood Bags, pick spawns, extra loot and etc=pure competitve shooter. Mods like Epoch and even the non-offocial DayZ servers doesnt even feel like there is a survival aspect to them. Self Blood bags are what really does it in. imo most of the kids and people who just want to go out and kill people play these servers. You can pick spawns in Vanilla now but it still has the same feel to it (at least from when I started playing in Feb). There is a tad more loot I believe (Could be wrong here). No Self Blood Bag so there is still value in life and reason to play cautious.

I think there are only a couple per official server (legitly). Pretty sure ive never had any. Which reminds me I wish they would bring back pitch black nights. Nt usre why they would take one of the best parts of the game out.

There are few things better than having a hatchet or machette and someone trying kill you on sight thinking they have an easy kill but instead you hatchet them in the head.

I see all kinds of people but never have to shoot on sight. I would go as far to say I never have to shoot on sight. Even when someone runs right up on me and I have to kill them its not shooting on sight because I seen them coming long before they got to me.

So people just get together and ill zombies? Sounds awesome if so.

Will someone please explain to me what you mean by role playing lol

If a server full of 50 players were distriputed around the map evenly there would have to be at least 5 miles in between each player. I guess I could be wrong but woudnt there have to be quite a bit more than just 1 mile between each player. Thats not very far really.

Im not exactly sure what you mean lol. Explain in more detail what you mean by role plying. Has it ever been possible in this game to go into the Elektro church, claim at as your own and not get killed shortky after? I assume your just trolling.

A friend easy to acquire? Ive had my dude passing out and blinded for dayz (sorry cant help it), begging for someone to help me with a blood bag to no avail. All the while trying to find a hunting knife with no success, matches, cow or etc with no success. And if you do find someone to help you out its highly likely they will just kill you.

Because a cow makes you work for it at least. You couldnt go in and g straight into gun fights without the worry of getting shot if cowas were all that healed us. And if you blind cause your blood is so low its way easier to find some blood bags than it is to find hatchet, wood pile, matches, hunting knife and cow. Blood bags and cows arent even close to the same thing.

LiftCore and KoS, dont get me wrong, I am well aware of the "back stabbing bandits" place in this game. imo it really helps simulate a real apocolypse. So i really have no issues with it. If I fall for one of those tricks its my own fault for letting my guard down. So I do appreciate the extreme bandits. I talk shit about the play style alot but that adds to the fun imo. If everyone had my mentality it would be a boring game. I personally dont possess the mentailty to ruin someones hour by friending them and stabbing them in the back and I dont hold anyhting against those who run a wild bandit life on a video game lol.

Your right it is a game for fun. The thing is its not fun to be stabbed in the back. So the people who are out to stab other in the back make the game not fun for others. But as long as it keeps the game fun for you thats all that matters, right? Even at the cost of other peoples fun. However, you are right, no one should trust someone they meet on a video game. And you definately shouldnt trust someone in a real apocolypse. There are people that will f you over and there are those (very few) that wont. So stay cautious.
