I also forgot to mention the code. This applies to Knights and above. 1. Help all others before yourself. 2. Defend the Kingdom at all costs. 3. Bring justice to those that would terrorize. This is also subject to change, and open for suggestion.

I would like to formally invite any who are reading this, to join the kingdom. My name is t1324567. And I have a vision of making this post-apocalyptic world, a better place. And I'm sure that I am not the only one out there. I'm sure that initially, we shall start out small, but don't all great kingdoms? So, join me in my quest for a vision of a perfect world. Now as for the hierarchy of The Kingdom, starting from the bottom up. Peasants - The peasant is the lowest of the low, but important nonetheless. These are those who work to sustain The Kingdom and keep it running. They are the scavengers that bring the necessary items home, and to help us survive. And so, after leaving the lowly title of the peasant, once you enter the higher parts of the hierarchy, you stay there. Squire - The Squire is the manservant. They assist their lord without question. Typically, they will be the scouts before the lord, but the lord may assign any role to them, as seen fit. There is 2 Squire to each lord. Knight - The Knights are the warriors of their lord. They hone their skills in combat at this stage of the hierarchy. They protect their lord, whatever the cost, and cut down those that would oppose him. The knight is typically a heir in training. There are 2 Knights to a lord. Heir - The heir is the successor of the lord. If the lord was to ever move up in rank, or to ever leave the kingdom, the heir would replace him. The heir is the rank above the knight. After knights have honed their combat skills to their maximum potential, the lord will then choose one to be their heir. As the heir, they begin to learn how to lead. As the lord commands, they give the order. If the lord sets a quest, the heir shall lead. There is 1 Heir to each lord. Lord - The Lord is the ruler of their own land. As a king owns the realm, the lord defends it. After learning the essentials of leading as an heir, they begin to learn how to rule. They must learn more than just strategy and tactics, but appeasing his subjects, and learning the hierarchy. There are 3 lords to a king. Royal Guard - These are the protectors of the king. They are the elite warriors that outshine all others. They focus on two things in this role. Protecting the king at all costs, and always improving their combat to the next level. The royal guard can be chosen from Knights, Heirs, Lords, Retired Kings, or Retired Council members. There are 3 Royal Guards to a king. Prince - Chosen from Lords or Royal Guard, this is a most esteemed position. Here they will learn to rule a kingdom. This is where they will hone their skills as a leader, and eventually take on their King's kingdom, or their own. They command all below him with the same power of the king. There is 1 prince to a king. King - The highest of the high. They see all that goes on within their kingdom. They assign lands to lords, give quests, and assure the protection of his people. After honing both leadership and combat skills, you are ready to be a king. There is 1 King to a server. The Council - The council is made up of seven members. These are the wisest of all in a kingdom, and most experienced. They give guidance to kings, and guide princes. They train the king's armies and teach the king's lords. The council is made up of retired kings. There is 1 council to a server. The Grand Council - You cannot go amy higher than this. While Regular councils are both equal and below their kings, all kings must respect them. Only a chosen few may be a Grand Council Member. But only after you have experienced all there is to experience in The Kingdom. There is 1 Grand Council that will be made up of 7 members. This hierarchy is subject to change, and open for suggestion. If you would like to join The Kingdom, post your info in the manner below. Gamertag: Age: Reason for Joining The Kingdom: Desired Role(Not Grand Council): Justification for Recieving Position: Additional Comments: Also, it would be great if you guys could recommend servers.

Do you have what it takes......

One word to describe this game, Real. I don't just use this because it's a simulator, but because it brings out the reality in everything that has to do with it. The players, it shows how we would react in a zombie apocalypse, at least to the most part. It brings out real emotion. Sadness. Happiness. Anger. Even those that you have restricted from this place. Hackers for example, sure most of them are just looking to have it easy, but there are those who may just be looking for more out of the game. Those who strive to change the reality of things to distinguish themselves. Two phrases to describe this, "the sky's a limit" and "thinking outside the box". Of course, everyone is subject to their own beliefs, so I may have this opinion whereas others may have their own. Anyways, back on topic. I'd say that the emotions, as already stated, are real. -
DayZ Scenario: Would You Kill or Help

I would probably tell him to see if he can make his way towards the hospital while I try and flank the sniper. -

Best Random Find in DayZ
DayZSurvivalRadio replied to Er0ticG0atZ0MbI3's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
On my first day of DayZ, I played for about 12 hours straight. On one server, me and my friend met up in Cherno. In the church we found a box with everything in it. We figured it was a hacked box, but being noobs we took stuff from it. From there, we proceeded to run around the server like idiots thinking we had the best stuff. -

Hey man! Lol as you can probably see from my name we have similar ideas. Honestly I did not copy you on this, but looks like you've really got you stuff down. Anyways, seeing as your probably more of the expert I was wondering if I'd be able to join you as a DJ. Unfortunately I won't get my actual computer shipped in from my old house till next week. But if you're willing to accept me, I had a few great ideas. One of which would be a short survival tips section. And the other I recently got from the Urban Legends thread on the forums, but like a urban legends/ crazy story short in which we could read off stories or have listeners call in and tell us their craziest story. -
Day Z Urban Legends

I remember one of the scariest moments in my many lives of DayZ. I was just getting the hang of things in the game. All my friends had logged off on our usual server, so I decided to try out another server. It was night time on the server, and there weren't many people on. Not really knowing where I was, I began heading down the coast with the water on my right. I eventually arrived at what I discovered later to be Balota Airstrip. I knew that airstrips spawned good loot so I checked everything and eventually found a aks. When I finished with the hangars and control tower and hangars, I started running through the field to the other part of the airstrip. About halfway there, I heard/saw my first heli. I was to excited to realize that something was wrong with it's flying. It crashed right between the hangars and control tower, it's explosion lighting up the night. Stunned for a moment, I lay there in the middle of the field just staring at the hangar that hid the view of the crash site. After watching the area for about a minute, I mustered up enough courage to go check it out. After arriving at the scene, I discovered no body. Being a noob, I felt bold and scouted around, and found not a single person. Suddenly, I heard another helicopter flying nearby. So I fled into the hangar and went prone in the dark corner of it. I watched right outside the hangar thinking that would be where they landed, but they crashed to my right in the exact same position as the old crash. The hairs on the back of my neck began to raise as I thought this strange. After having an internal battle about what I should do, curiosity got the better of me. I slowly crept out and made my way towards the crash. There was something nagging at the back of my head though. Something was wrong. There was no flies buzzing. I thought maybe my hearing got blown out or something from being right next to the explosion, but when I checked, there were no bodies. Freaking out I spoke into direct chat asking if anyone was there. After no reply I shrugged it off and decided it was better I leave it. I turned towards the field and nearly shit my pants. Though it was night, the fires from the 2 crash sites illuminated much of the darkness. The sky was full of people parachuting down. Not just a couple people, but more than I dared to count. Though I could distinguish their figures in the dark, I couldn't make out what they looked like. Frozen in fear, I watched not knowing what would happen. When this massive group touched down, they went prone, I lost them all in the grass that hid them so well, but I could hear them shuffling. Finally my instincts regained their hold and I fired off my afk blindly. I thought I heard the grunt of someone being hit, but the sound of shuffling increased as they got closer. Before they could come into view, I immediately logged off. I've had the server favorited for the months that I've had DayZ, but I dare not even glance at the name. -
Are you a PC Gamer?
DayZSurvivalRadio replied to Dreygar (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Technically consoles are just PCs in disguises, but worse. And you're either a pc gamer or a console gamer or a mac "gamer" that calls themselves a pc gamer. Honestly though, there are programs to make your controller work for pc, but it's usually hard because there are so many controls you have to adapt. -

Stockpiled weapons
DayZSurvivalRadio replied to bad_mojo (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Why would people take 10 weapons they don't need, you ask? Because they can. This is a game about survival and psychology. Only the strongest will survive, is not necessarily true. It's those who adapt that will survive. If there's 10 guns in a barracks, and they have the chance to get to it before you, they'd probably take all of the guns. While you might be on a level playing field with them without the guns, with the guns they would be stronger, with all the guns they would ensure their dominance. And true it might not be necessary, but they don't know how close behind the next person is to getting to the barracks. They don't know if that person is a bandit or not. And even if they were close and said they were friendly, there could be no guaranteeing that. As proved by psychology, you can never truly know someone, and you will die alone whetherb it be in the game or in real life. In the end, you need to think about yourself and survival. -
It has been a total of 7 weeks and 3 days I've gone without DayZ and my computer. I'm typing this on my ipod currently. I only have to wait till next week for my computer back, but I'm going crazy. I've watched dayz videos, I've memorized the maps, I even read The Zombie Survival Guide twice through. Any suggestions on what I can do to keep myself entertained for a few more dayz. (Pun intended)
