agreed! Really hard to find a full vanilla server nowadays!

It is way easier than all the suggestions above. Just only allow people to logoff in the forests and not in towns,NWAF,etc. Still possible to server-hop of course but it would take way more time, and it also addresses what I call the "reverse combatlog" or when you and your group have secured some place only for someone to suddenly login inside your secured area.... Combine that with a time limit for joining different servers and all set.

I also agree with people complaining about nerfed zeds. I would rather have a hard time with glitched zeds spotting you at 300m sometimes, than play with this nerfed things that just wander around reacting to nothing... I had very funny moments in 1.7.5.1. just because of shooting a round in the wrong place at the wrong time, and also some very frustrating ones (especially at NWAF) being unable to crawl undetected. I thing that both things were originally supposed to be the emotions transmitted by this game... Bring the zeds back!

Thanks for the update and useful fixes. IMO new foods/sodas are a horrible idea though.

How are helicopters realistic?

It is actually not much more difficult to fly a helicopter in a real flight simulator... It is the complex and changing atmospheric conditions in the real world what makes flying anything that flies an actual challenge... -

So, that is my whole point. If there is no way to fix that first due to engine limitations, there is no point on having all zeds in a 80 meter radius called in to come after you through fences and walls...

I just registered to comment on the zombie issue. I agree that they were harmless in previous releases and the idea of making them more of a challenge is a rather good one. However, the implementation of this talking thing without fixing first the existing issues is a no-go... In these few days I have seen everything ranging from zeds spotting me from 30 meters while standing still hiding behind a wall to tens of zeds running behind me going through all kinds of walls, fences and even buildings. Also, I never pictured zombies as being capable of climbing ladders (i.e. spawning on the top of deer stands)... On the other hand I never pictured vampires that sparkle either.. In the end I'd rather have the old zeds back (with the hearing fixed, that seems to work fine at least) than the new buggy ones...
