When can we expect this week's status report?

The thing is, people that complain about KOS are the ones that play the game because they are looking for that "something special" that DayZ has to offer. PVP is a part I enjoy in the game but when I am KOS'd I feel it just lacks the excitement of interacting with another player. If I have to loose my stuff I want it to happen after being taken hostage, or whatever. DayZ is a game of it`s own, and in the other hand there are tons of games which revolve around killing other players. So it's understandable to see people mad when they jump on DayZ and their experience is ruined by some asshole that thinks he`s playing Counter Strike. Also IMO, want a challenge? Buy BF4 and go hunt a tank with a knife. Killing fresh spawns is for pussys.

I play on a Mac Book Air with similar specs. Low and mid in every setting but I can still play while Im on this trip away from home.

I'm new to SA but I see your in-game name is associated with your Steam username. Is there any way to change this in the SA? If not can you change your name in Steam?

So yeah, you know how in the mod your character has to stop to switch between weapons because running and pulling out an axe is too dangerous to perform at the same time.. I understand this is the Alpha but will this be addressed in the SA? I thought this was the kind of thing we could get rid of by building the game from scratch?

Still can't log into any servers.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but no matter how I customize my character, when I click "OK" it goes back to the default female outfit. I've seen pictures of male characters playing so I guess this is a bug?

I'm sure this has been asked and actually I read a couple answers but none of the solutions provided were too clear so here I am. So that's basically the question.. I want to practice my flying because I'm new and I'd like to use the mission editor or load an external mission to play, but like you already know there's no single player option with DayZ files installed. Needless to say, I don't want to unistall DayZ. Is this possible at all? Thanks!

I'm really thinking of buying the game to play this mod when I get back home from my vacations. I have watched some videos online and there are some things I wanted to ask you guys (and gals): 1. What's the deal with servers? Are there official ones? I'm asking because I guess hacking happens a lot more on "open" or unofficial servers. 2. How does the spawn system work for items and vehicles? I mean, if I pick something up from a hospital, does it respawn after some time? 3. Are there helicopters? 4. Do you have a friends list or some kind? That's all I can think of for now.. I guess I will have more coming as I continue to watch videos hehe. Thank you in advance :)
