Could you explain what the hell is this "got eyes on you" sense? what? the only thing thats handicapped with 1st person on the game right now is the sound (that i dont know why, they work just fine in arma 2 and 3), peripheral vision is like this in any game and just a bit of FOV tweaking can make it much better. Fiddling with FOV have the downside of reducing the scope zoom, and that's pretty bullshit, but anyway. You cant be serious if you're telling me that the bugged sounds should be balanced by the ability to see shit behind cover and kill someone almost without any exposure. People play 3dp servers cause they're addicted/used to it, as EVERY streamer out there uses this lamecore tactic to get kills, and by the same motivation that makes bullshit servers with 999 vehicles and 213123234 barracks be full while vanilla/hardcore servers are usually empty. Most people want the easy way for everything. And the concept of dayz tells that you're supposed to be out of your confort zone while playing, hence why you should play in hardcore if you want to experience what's dayz is really about.

well, just remove most of the obscure stuff and you have a pretty decent weapon list for a game like dayz. well, bad thing is that 60% of that list if made of obscure shit. lol.

So because you didnt see a hacker in your incredible 100 hours on the game, they dont exist, right? And all these people complaining in the forums are misreporting? I dont know what's worse, your clearly blind point of view on the cheating problem on this game, or that you're contradicting yourself by stating that the lag's so bad in the game that it's confused with hacking, when you stated before that the game lagged less than the mod (that never had these issues). Do you have a reading disorder or what? i explained clearly how i got to play the game, learn to read. And for the first phrase: -

only dumb people would do that, and would learn quickly why that's a bad idea, as they would get shot or eaten alive by a zombie if they got stuck on a bush or something. not adding a auto run key just makes people have to stick things in their keyboard to make the same effect. If they add an auto run button, just dont use if you dont like it, that's it. Trying to force something silly just because you dont like the idea is retarded. -

his point is that is 10 times easier to get a m4+magazine than getting a freaking sporter as a placeholder gun. Sporters should spawn with a 10 round mags, now they're more than useless. -

i really dont know what makes people think weapons spawning with the freaking magazine will increase the pvp, it's not like there's an m4 with 2 mags in every barracks that you go in, right? :rolleyes: all these carebears, oh dear. -

m4's and sks's should be 5~6% spawning. We have way too much auto/semiauto weapons hanging around. Mosins and shotguns should be the common weapons. the blazer should be much more accurate than the mosin, as the accuracy on the mosin should be more like the SKS. -

and what makes you think that in a poor region like chernarus (look at the kind of building we have there) you would find all these security with mosins and 1022 that the civs own? Or you're just another dude thinking all the world is identical to the country you live on? -
the engine probably cant handle it. In arma you couldnt do it, and that was a mil simulator, holding a pistol while dragging someone would have a much bigger role there than in a survival game.

of what use for home defence is a unloaded gun? lol. Again: Military weapons are ALWAYS stored in the armories without magazines, civ weapons are usually the contrary. And dont even get me started on this "KOS" bullshit. You Dont want pvp? go play hello kitty online. -
netcode and mechanic changes? it cant be any good. Expect some new major bugs and exploits on the next weeks, friends.

IRL you have a much bigger chance of finding a civillian weapon with a magazine than a military one, as soldiers would take a lot of magazines with them to combat, and probably scatter them around, making them useless. Civillian weapons normally are stored with their magazine in it. military pistols should be an exception, as they're stored with magazines too. -

There's no way to fix a scope IRL, at least not as a regular civilian without proper equipment and supplies. Broken scopes shouldnt even spawn, they're worse than the iron sights.

civilian weapons, yes. Military weapons are usually stored without the magazine in it, and in an outbreak, the one's left in the barracks/buildings would be the ones left in the storage. On crash sites, though, they should come loaded, and more mags should spawn in the zombies/bodies from the crash. They should be usually damaged, barely usable, tho. -
nope Sniping needs to be balanced, but adding thermal detectors would only make it worse. Just adding realistic windage and elevation to sniping would already make it hard enough.
