Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
lipemr replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
How do you explain DayZero then, that had almost every building enterable and the FPS were way better than in the vanilla mod (that's WAY better than the SA), along with flawless dangerous zombies, better than anything we've seen on the game so far. Excuses... Excuses... -
Is it worth buying Dayz standalone yet? [With Developer responses]
lipemr replied to Blade4777980's topic in General Discussion
typical fanboy agenda, if someone says something bad about your sacred game, yell "ALPHER" as loud as you can, if it doesnt work, paste the steam page's disclaimer over and over again. Well, clock's ticking, it's 5 months now, no big improvement in the gameplay still. Halfway through the alpha and there's still numerous bugs and mechanic flaws that are on the game since day 1. I'll just go around here from time to time to see how things change in these forums. I'll enjoy seeing the fanboy army choking on their words when the beta gets delayed over and over for the next 2 years, just like the Alpha release was announced and delayed over and over by dean last year. -
When Does The " ALPHA!" Excuse End?
lipemr replied to [email protected]'s topic in General Discussion
very convenient for them to say that, then get the game in the stage it is right now, right? People must be really naive if they're thinking this game will really cost more as the time passes. -
Alright, I am finally concerned about the standalone
lipemr replied to JimmyGate's topic in General Discussion
or it will be all the way around? 5 months and counting, how many months will take to you start changing your mind? -
do you seriously hope that this will be implemented, when mosins use x51mm ammo and m4's get 800% more accuracy with certain handguards? i'm all for it, but dont superestimate the people behind this game, they dont care for realistic features at all.

What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?
lipemr replied to RadikulRAM's topic in General Discussion
there's no admin tool on the game, so it was a cheater. -
Q: How to Snipe people successfully from about 700-800 meters?
lipemr replied to blazed's topic in General Discussion
well, start to use sniper rifles more often and you'll get used to guessing the distances. I never used a rangefinder in a real situation in the mod, always guess the distance and make adjustments on the fly, it works most of the time, if you have a decent position. -
who fucking cares? are you a frankie wannabe or something?

every item you mentioned doesnt work as intended and probably will take a LOT of time to get to a decent level, while most of them should be in a decent level already after 2 years of development. Saying that people are "crying" while all you do is copy what developers say and paste on the topic, or regurgitate the same pre-made message on every topic must be really time consuming, man. I dont need to have a PhD on software development to know that there's something really wrong with the way the development's going. They're running in circles, most of the updates they release is for fixing the bugs that appeared on the last one and that not exist in game before it. Instead of focusing on modeling the buildings interior, to stop this zombies wall-walking bullcrap, they go and make zombies ruin your inventory with 1 hit spawn 10 meters from your face or above you and take 8 hatchet hits to kill. Instead of figuring a way to reduce the rubberbanding to a decent level, they raise the population to 100 players and add more resource-consuming features like respawning loot, while the game clearly doesnt have the structure to support said feature and it will more than likely bring a ton of exploits that will make the game nearly unplayable. And the fact that everyone that's "on your side" on this topic's discussion upvoted your post just proves my earlier assumption: You all take this shit personal and refuse to see that this game has flaws that need to be put into discussion. There's things that are on the bugtracker from right after the launch and didnt ger fixed yet, just telling everybody "go to bugtracker and stfu about the bugs on the forum, let's only say good things about it here" wont solve anything, The forums need to be used to see the magnitude of the bugs, how much and how bad they're screwing people's gameplay. -
Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
lipemr replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
so they have 1 year to deploy a feature complete game, where in 5 months they failed to fix simple issues like weapon accuracy and zombies clipping through walls, let alone the desync? if they can do it all in 1 year, i take off my hat for them. -
Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)

then why do people call them a placeholder instead of a fucking work on progress, that's what they are? Just cheap excusiness, i guess. The forums are full of it anyway. -
Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
lipemr replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
well, it's already almost half a year of public alpha and nothing really improved. cheating arrived like a raging bull and the most basic features and mechanics are still a no-go. Yes, i'm talking about weapon accuracy mechanics, zombies and desync. -
Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)

well, if there was proof, there would be no scam to start with. There's evidence, a lot of things that lead me to think about the game being a scam. And i'm not even the conspirationist kind of person. let's start by releasing the game in the time it would make the maximum money possible, and releasing it on its crudest state. Then putting disclaimers where obviously they wouldnt matter, after all the hype created around standalone, no disclaimer would make people NOT buy it. They were telling people that the game would go incredibly expensive after some time, that a lot of features would be implemented and you would save money by buying it on launch. That isnt happening at all, is it? And now the slow developing speed, clearly not matching the schedules of expecting the game to reach beta in early 2015. The game getting more and more broken with each update that comes out. It just creates this feeling that this project is clearly not being well administrated and that dean tried to do more than he's able to by releasing this game. -
and the 12 year troll has arrived. he may be a little exalted about it, but he's stating the obvious.

so what's alpha for. Explain to me, genius. When people bring up the lack of content, "OHH LOOK, alpha isnt for content, it's for fixing the foundation of the game" When people bring up the cronic flaws of the game engine "OOH LOOK, alpha isnt for bug fixing, it's for adding content, beta is for bug fixing" That's turning into a stupid cat and rat game where we all lose in the end. -
Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
lipemr replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
if they were placeholders, they wouldnt need to be worked on as they are right now, would they? they're said to be placeholders so everybody can have an excuse when someone brings up how broken are they. if they were really placeholders, they would be left as they are and in some time a completely new AI would be released in its place. -

lipemr replied to JimmyGate's topic in General Discussion
isnt that what's alpha's for? bringing up bugs and fixing them? A game being alpha doesnt make it immune to complaining of any sort. People complain about bugs on standalone because most of those bugs werent on the mod, that was supposed to be a cruder version of what the game would be. We expected to see the game at least in the same state of the mod is right now, but it's WAY worse, and they're charging for it. Right now we have less things than we had in the mod, more bugs and time's passing. And you'll see, people will quote this post and say "go play the mod then" or "you didnt have to buy the game", as the fanboy army is used to. Taking things personally wont help anyone nor the development, it will only make the community turn to shit and the game stagnant. -

lipemr replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
you shouldnt focus on complaining about zombie's HP or strenght, they're supposed to be this way. They're broken cause they can walk through walls, spawn above you and will still whack you inventory out with 2 hits. THAT's the bullshit on the story, not their strenght. -

lipemr replied to JimmyGate's topic in General Discussion
so, in your mind, negative feedback will make devs sad and they wont be able to make it into a sucessful game? oh dear... Devs hurry or normalize the progress based on three things: Schedule, Competition and Popularity Rocket proved us that he doesnt care for the first one multiple times on the last year. Competition is still not present, and possibly will never be. The only thing left is popularity. the game losing populatiry will hurt future games that rocket or BIS release. They already got paid for standalone, but if it turns out to be a scam, their next game is doomed. -
did you ever get shot to say something like that? most bullets will knock you down or disorientate you hard if they hit you in the torso. Arm shots will make you lose completely your aim control, and leg shots usually make you fall over almost instantly (if it's not a 9mm or .22). A .45 will easily snap a femur with a direct impact. Actually it's holywood that shows people getting shot and only noticing after the fight is over, for that classical drama effect and "die on his arms" cliche.

Well, starting by the fact you put anyone who talk anything bad about the game as "whiny mofos" and all the white knights diehard-wannabe as "patient fans", it seems clear that you take things personally about this game. nowadays most of the people defending days flaws take shit personally when we say anything, and that's the problem. It's like a new religion, "talk bad things about my game and i'll consider you an enemy". The fact is that we're all here by the same motivation: trying to make the game better. But obviously some people here dont have life experience enough and think only compliments and support can make things get on track, when it's not like it. Without pression, things dont get done IRL. -
yeah, but that's like, just your opinion. The beauty of modding is that something fully new and non expected can come from a game. Well, it's even ironic, cause the dayz mod came out of a military sim, how's that for you? There should be no dayz then, as it "took the aspects from arma 2 and watered them down"? If there's no true survival servers out there anymore, that's because people dont like hard things and go to easy servers, again what's the mod's fault on people being lazy?
-
of course, cause the vanilla mod was difficult at all, right? i'll just LOL at you, dude. Most of the mods actually made the game harder and more complex by adding more content and more things to do, this 'mods killed dayz' is pure nostalgic bullshit.
-
you dont know shit about you're talking. This things you mentioned are plugins, made from scripting, these things were always possible in the vanilla dayz, wasnt the mods that brought it, blame the arma 2 engine for that. Modding is changing gameplay mechanics, completely different.
-
well, following your logic, we would still be playing pong in our ataris. Just because it's a game doesnt mean it cant be improved.
