    if you die, you lose all the things you learned in the past life. So people would think twice before picking fights out there. but you probably know it and it's just trolling.

    you mean lugers? yeah, i think should be available. The game should have plenty of different caliber pistols/weapons, so the specific ammunition types would be much harder to get.

    duude, for freaking sake, where i even mentioned experience in my previous posts? RPG is simply a game where you play in the role of your 'avatar', in dayZ, you play as the survivor, a dude washed up in the shore that have to survive using any necessary means. If that isnt a survival RPG, i dont really know what it is. the character is nameless so you put the name you want on it, and he looks like everyone else cause the game that the mod used didnt support any customization. DayZ IS a RPG. A really uncommon type of RPG nowadays, but still a RPG. What the fuck? if playing as a survival in a zombie apocalipse isnt playing a role in a fiction world, then what is it? For the grinding thing, make medical supplies much more rare, make ammunition rare, limit the learning in things like running, cutting wood, anything. done. No more botting nor grinding will be possible. I'm suggesting it not because i'm an standart-RPG fan, i'm suggesting it cause it's the way we could simulate the practice you get on real life by doing this. Coming with this story that "the players behind the computer that should get better on the game" is a pure falacy, if it's going to be realistic, you need to be able to get better on what you do, as much as any person in real life can. And dayZ is? seriously?

    yeah, that's a problem too. But you still have the high ground, isnt hard to spot enemys unless they're snipers, then you're fucked.

    1911 has the shittiest iron sights ever, i prefer the revolver when it comes to .45 handguns (that arent that great after all, you'll always head shot the zombies and spamshot players in emergency). the PDW is far better for the vast kind of magazines that you can use, G17 is great too.

    Yeah the "player interactions" where everyone shoots on sight seems AMAZING, i think you dont play dayZ for the last 6 months. If a progression system is "omfg bad, no rpg, dayZ is no rpg, hurr hurr", then what do you suggest to reduce the shoot on sight and to make players value more their lives? And yeah, dayZ IS a RPG, if you think it isnt, you dont even know the freaking meaning of the term.

    2 hits would be OK, but you obviously would need 2 hatchets, and they doesnt exist much, so, sfter all, i dont think it should be implemented.

    make it crossbow style, with huge bullet drop. but 1 hit would knock down the player, and one more would kill him. And a hatchet to the head would be a hit kill, just like the crossbow.

    Well, if you remove all excessive military loot from namalsk, i would agree completely, but with all those rail guns, 10 aks by 50m² and vehicles, no way.

    Pre-charged Air rifles.

    did you shoot one large bore pre-charged air rifle in your life? i think 99/100 people didnt, these rifles just doesnt exist out there in quantities that are relevant to be added to the game, this would be just unrealistic. A winchester is way more efficient in every way than these things, and doesnt decay as much over time. There's no point adding these rare shitty rifles to the game, sincerely. it'll be much better to add different caliber lever/bolt action rifles, pistols and revolvers, as it would be more difficult to find ammunition for one specific weapon. If you'll add these things, add .22LR hunting rifles instead, with scope, reduced noise and almost no-existant recoil, doing the same damage as a makarov, and killing in one headshot (with a chance of the bullet stopping on the skull and do normal damage). THIS would add some dynamic to the game.

    you're expecting way too much dude, i expected something like that from the mod when i started playing, and here i am. For an online game, 1 month is mediocre, maybe you're mixing single player and MMO concepts, cause only a single player would be satisfatory with 1 month of casual playing entertainment. Also, i dont think rocket just want to make a game like the "other games" out there, doesnt that sounds like a failure game we already heard about some time ago? To make a decent MMO, a progression system is NEEDED, isnt even a matter of opinion, it's just NEEDED, cause without it, the longevity of the game will just go down the toilet and we'll see bad things happening to the standalone as we already see with the mod, where there's no vanilla server anymore, and the most populated are the ones that go extremely the opposite way the game should be.

    it's way more easy to add high power BB guns to the game than these air guns that only one company on the entire world make.

    i dont really see where all this "content" is, sincerely. All i see is a dozen of new actions that you can make within a month EASILY, and after that? the same boring Deathmatch stuff? And the matter of making death more important than "just get your stuff back"?

    i want 10mm glocks and 9mm, .38 and .45 lever action rifles. This game need mUCH more weapon variety, and to make them much more rare.

    find their camp and destroy everything, just for the sake of it. @ M4 CC0/M14 M24 in backpack Alice pack with some stanag SD/ DMR mags, food and water. G17 with SD ammo, to kill zombies.

    a classic RPG style with survival aspects still sounds better than a giant deathmatch with zombies, running in a shitty engine full of hackers like it is now. and no one ever talked about leveling up here, we're talking about perks to simulate the practice you get on real life by doing things like run, bandage, carry stuff and all these kinds of actions.

    dude, do you really play dayZ? Brutal survival? Brutal difficulty? aaaw cmon, seriously? the game has turned in a giant open world deathmatch, cause it gets boring as soon as you get your car, your sniper rifle, you AKM and you basic survival stuff, all of that doesnt take 6 hours to get.

    yeah, give me some good reasons to kill unarmed people, or people that just ignore you and keep in their business. That's exactly the freaking opposite of what the game should mean. It's about survival, NOT KILLING EVERYTHING THAT MOVES JUST FOR THE LULZ, DAMN. You should be afraid of death, you shouldnt pick a fight with everyone who crosses your path, in a apocalipse like it's suggested on the game, you would actually want to build up a team to survive better. People like you that think dying is just a "patience" matter, are the ones that screw the game, fuck up the immersion and bring the bad reputation to servers. But this freaking mod is already totally flooded with cod kiddies, a quick look on what servers are the most poppulated tells you everything you need to know. i really hope the standalone to be FREAKING HARDCORE hard, at the point that you should me more affraid of zombies than of people, with weapons spawns extremely rare and NO SERVER CUSTOMIZATION SUPPORT, FFS, no more [1000 cars, spawn with NVG+GPS+WEAPON]. Then the kiddies would ragequit after dying repeatedly and would clean the game of their cancerous presence.
