i care for weapon calibers, i care for looking for the right kind of ammo so everything can have decent rarity and i care for realism and immersion. Why dont yo divide ammo in "pistol ammo", "shotgun ammo" and "assault rifle ammo" then. This dumbing down that devs are doing in the game is looking bad as shit. Are they making the game easier so more casuals will fill the already emptying servers? -
people just learned to play the game, they were like that in the start of the mod cause they were lost and didnt know shit about how to play, where to go, etc. Now we know everything that's in the game, what we can do, where should we go to get supplies, EVERYTHING. There's only pvp left to do, deal with it.

civilian rifles are more accurate than military rifles most of the cases. Military service rifles are made to be cheap and fast to produce, their tolerances are high, civillian rifles are made to be a good product, with tight tolerances going up with the price. And the blazer works with the most accurate possible action, single/dual shots use a solid base to the catridge in every direction, which make the spread patterns even more tighter than a military bolt action with worn out bolt locks and trigger mechanisms. So no, a mosin will never be anywhere close as accurate as a blazer.

so we need to put random values in game, instead of adding sway to the guns? The gun's supposed to shoot where it is pointed, you wont hit if you cant point it steadily, simple as that.

then add tanks with common ammo, as the point of a sandbox is to do whatever you want, right? Helicopters are only fun to the clan that's owning it. Tell me if you find it fun when your stash that you hid 2km into the woods gets found on the next 2 hours after you logout. DayZ is about grieving people, make it easy for some while making hard for others and you have your bullshit formula. If you want air vehicles, add cessnas with vision restricted to 1st person view. helicopters never had place in dayz and were added only because there was literally nothing else to do after you found a DMR or M107 in the mod. there's just no argument to justify adding these kind of vehicles to the game. Unless you add a tank with AA capabilites, following the same logic. -

yes, they are. From the ground you have your vision limited by terrain and LOS, from the air everything is 10x more clear and you have a clear view of anything in the rendering distance. -
even 7.62 and 9mm rounds penetrate some kinds of cover, and they wont do it, get your hopes down.

all weapons feel like a shotgun-pellet spitter right now, the only accurate weapons are the blaze and the mosin (the mosin shouldnt be much accurate at all, BTW). The entire damage/ballistics system must be redone, and it will take an entire year to do, following the speed that shit's getting worked right now. So get used to shitty and inconsistent firefights, people, they'll be around for a very good time.

a mod is always an alpha, doesnt matter what the state of the game it is built on. Just as DayZ mod was always and will probably always be an alpha. -
are you mentally challenged? i just showed that the weapon is much more accurate IRL than any pistol is in the game, that have nothing to do with moving targets or user skill. As i said in other topic: The weapon will always outshoot the shooter. Try to make a grouping like that from 50 meters in the game, on a static target, and tell me if you can. you know that this video was made back right after the magnum's release, when it had 3x the m4's muzzle velocity and damage, no bullet drop and was as accurate as a mosin, right? they got a BIG nerf right after that.

it's a glitch when you get your legs between the radio antenna and the sidewall of the tower, just like what happened in the mod, when you would crunch your legs by walking or turning your character in small spaces. it's a bug, so just stop camping on the top of it and go on. -
