Well, apparently the game will be F2P after a paid pre access period, and anyone who played planetside 2 will agree that if there's someone that knows how to make a F2P game, it's them. I'm really worried about dayz's fate, let's hope the competition kicks the dev hard on the ass so they actually take the game somewhere. All i know is that i'm definitively playing H1Z1

Pistols are another entire different story, They needed a generic model for a .45 pistol, there's no more generic pistol than the FNX, same with the amphibia, they needed a silenced .22 pistol, they're not common anywhere outside america, heck, they're rare even in america. So they put in the amphibia S, modified version of the well known ruger mk2. And no one cares if it's a "kimber" or a "dogshit2000" 1911, it's a 1911, dont matter if they added the most common one or the most rare one, they're all the same. Pistols always have a irrelevant place in your inventory anyway, as they all function exactly the same. Rifles on the other side, have a much more relevant part on the gameplay. If you see someone with a pimped out FNX,you're going to tell yourself "oh, look at that pimped out pistol", if you find someone with a pimped out m249 SAW ACOG, that's another story.

you have no clue what you're talking about. Alpha = Fixing the fucking game foundation, making it stable so you can go to the beta, that is when you add features and test them. When people complained about the lack of patches, fanboys were saying that alpha is for fixing the foundations of the game, now that the dev team gave up on fixing the basic systems, alpha is for adding content. What? they already proved themselves uncapable of fixing the game's more basic flaws, so they are focusing on adding a shitton of features, most of them they name "placeholders" so the fanboy army will keep playing the game, even if it's shit. Everything is broken in this game, from zombies, desync, inventory, to gunplay, movimentation, sound and cheating. Yet they think adding new content will make the game better, well, it wont make the game better, it will only keep the fanboys happy and that's it.

of course, let's add more shit into the game and leave the basic mechanics totally flawed. best formula to make a shitty game.

I NEVER saw any army use railed g3/FALs unless its for their special forces units. Just deal with it. The only attachments for FALs and G3s should be the scope mount, the scope, different muzzle breakers, bigger magazines and maybe some crafted supressor (that wouldnt last long). Not everybody has this rail tacticool fetish that you americans have, deal with it.

seriously? CQB stocks should make easier to clear tiny spaces without hanging your barrel on walls, handguards should make possible to put more attachments on your gun, etc. Putting magic properties on attachments is just plain stupid, and they fucked up by putting this system even in the alpha. only WoW fags can believe that 'magic properties' can add something to a survival game.
