    I've experienced it once but after 10-15 secs it fixed itself. Sometime's it's just the server restarting or it's shutting down. Or could just be alpha being alpha. Just find a new server and try to find one that works for you.

    Try using the DayZ installer. It's in the stickies section and it's what I used to install DayZ and it worked out flawlessly. You still have to add the launch command in Steam but after that it's easy sailings.

    It's not the fact they were mexican's (racist). It's called being a human. Human's lie everyday. My word of advice? Really, don't trust anyone. Find someone off game to play with and learn to trust them. Also the fact you spotted a GROUP of people meaning they're likely friends and likely aren't going to be adding more people to their group. Seeing group's running together is a red flag to walk away and don't interact with them. One thing I'm starting to love about this game is just how you learn something new each run. Use your gut instinct. Use common sense. Simple things can extend your life far longer than someone who's more careless. Take a deep breath, restart that life, get your gear back, and have fun. Raging will just make you do poor choices and will make you play more aggressively because you'll want you gear back faster.

    Just downloaded ARMA/DayZ. So excited to play....EXCEPT when after fixing everything I enter the server to notice I have 5-10 FPS...Unplayable I know for sure. Surprisingly still killed a zombie with that bad of FPS. Now this is my first time with ARMA 2 on this comp and I'm just wondering if my computer can't handle it or it's just the patch issue everyone's talking about. Here are my specs. Every other game I get no FPS droppage. AMD FX 6100 6 Core Processor 3.3 GHz Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 8GB RAM DirectX11

    Yah I'm not EXTREMELY tech savvy so I'm not sure if I just had a bad combination of comp parts but I do run every other game well so I assumed/hoped it was just the patch. I've tried multiple servers. Nothing good yet though sadly. Hope they get the fix out soon!
