No regrets, no consequences.

I myself, take it serious. To me it adds to the immersion to create a more dark atmosphere, which makes it more entertaining to me. I can be quite brutal at times due to this. If I encounter another player, and if I don't already have an objective; I tell them to kneel down, any sudden movements will result in death, to put all their gear on the floor, ask what business they are doing here, what their IGN is, and their murders/bandit kills. At that point, I take any of the gear I would consider wanting/needing, then most likely flip my lucky coin to see if I should execute them or not. Or KoS if needed.

G36C-SD or the CCO SD. Two of my favorites for night ops if I'm with my teamate, but it's always better to use with NVGs.

"PKILL: Intensity was killed by Ben with weapon m8_carbineGL from 4637.4m" Yes, the admin has handled it and he's now banned from the server. Just thought I'd share it for the "lulz". Laughed pretty hard myself once I saw the log.

What happened to me yesterday;
intensity replied to intensity's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I was also in a helicopter going 250kph. A 5.56x45 rifle shot would tumble to the ground before even reaching that distance, no matter if it was random. -
What happened to me yesterday;

Nope. Not to mention it was a hacked gun of course. -
Arma's video settings are really weird. I tested my FPS through the singleplayer benchmarks on different settings and this is what I received: *Very Low: 42-45 FPS *Low: 30-45 FPS Normal: 60-62 FPS High: 59-60 FPS Very High: 50-60 I find it very odd how it works...

DayZ can be glitchy like this sometimes. Don't know why, but it can happen. If anything, try this: Move around a little bit more with your scroll menu you up, and see if it will ever pop up Move the blood bag into your backpack or on the ground, then back to your inventory and try it again Try relogging by shutting down Arma and try once again If that doesn't work, maybe you're just allergic to blood bags and gas.

Suggestion: Switch the HMMWV and ATV's inventory capacity.
intensity replied to HappyMushroom's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
I'm certain that all vehicles work this way. Not sure about tents, but I know every time my heli/car has overflowed with stuff, it lands around the vehicle. -
DayZ requires using them. If you originally purchased Arma 2: CO, then you should notice it came with the "lite" versions of BAF and PMC. Make sure to run each of the DLCs once they're installed and then try launching DayZ again. If that doesn't work, try re-installing DayZ. That's about all I can tell you. If what is above doesn't help, can you give me more information on what the problem is other than it "not working"?

Even though this is your opinion, I highly disagree with you on the suggestions. Makes it too easy. This. -
What do you want to NOT be realistic?
intensity replied to phillyjoker's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I love the aspect of having the game to be realistic as possible, but at the same time, this is a video game and if it becomes too hard or too technical, then people won't proceed with playing it. Even though the goal of it is to show the realistic wasteland of an infection and how you would survive within it, the game still needs to be fun so it's not a bore. Of course, there are people who think the realism to the max is that fun, while keeping in mind that there are others who think that most realism is over the top. I good balance between the two subjects is what makes this game perfect. I, myself, would hate to see too much technical stuff implemented in the standalone, even though it really depends what side of the community is larger. With this in mind, in my own opinion, I feel like the mod is at the perfect point of realism and being fun. Not too technical, and not too easy. -
28 Days/Weeks Later, are perfect for setting examples on how the infected should be IMO.

Im Tired-Less Running Please
intensity replied to Rick the Survivor's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Running shows that the mod isn't a push over. After playing on servers with 200+ vehicles, I went on to public hives and noticed how gimped it made me. The amount of cars in a zombie apocolypse would be very slim, and being as realistic as it can, that's how it needs to be. -
It's been suggested many times before, but I do agree with this idea as long as it goes to a certain extent.

Dayz No PvP and No hackers
intensity replied to Maxwell(friendly)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
That's not trolling. That's still expressing their own personal opinion. "Trolling" is a term 12 year olds use when they do anything over the internet that makes people laugh, or themselves. Honestly, I hate the term, it irritates me when it's used in context. Anyways, end the argument about it, and let's keep the thread on topic. -
The clouds in Arma always move South East. There you go!

Dayz No PvP and No hackers
intensity replied to Maxwell(friendly)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If you didn't know, forums are created for people to express their opinions through a specific topic, which in this state is PVP. They are simply saying how the feel against Non-PVP and that it is frowned upon from a good amount of the community, which you would say is "bitching". On topic: Non-PVP becomes chaos after a while. Tends to get boring without any real excitement and an adrenaline rush, unless looting and shooting zeds is your excitement.
