Because the genre of a game that DayZ is, there becomes two balances within the game. One being; the amount of PvP, and the amount of PvE, two; the amount of realism, and the amount of entertainment. Destroying either of the balances will completely set aside to what DayZ really is, and what it has become. Not to mention, there are also four different and large communities affiliating within each side. For example: Making it TOO realistic would have the probability of making it too hard for certain players, but on the other hand, making it TOO easy will demolish the play style for the realistic atmosphere. -

When DayZ was updated in 1.7.5(.1) there was also an ArmA update. There's a glitch with the updates that causes the targeting mechanism to happen with the M107. No idea why, but it happens. Some servers have temporarily banned the M107 for such reasons causing it to become overpowered. -

Having that feeling of starting out and saying,"I don't know what to do with my hands"(Talladega Nights) and knowing Zeds were horrifying, is probably going to be one of my memories I'll never forget. Oh, how I would love to feel that again. -

Arma video settings are very weird. I get 60+ on Normal-Very High but 50+ on anything under Normal.

Tell them through direct chat to look away from you, drop all their gear, take the guns and shit, make sure they understand not to turn until told so. Shoot if they don't listen. That's about it.

I was on a public server last night. Heli crash site had 5 SVD Camos with an M1014. Couldn't tell if it was hacked or not, so I just left them alone.

I could possibly go for tents and the SVD mags. I would like to consider between the backpack or the M107. Even if I had your gear, I wouldn't.
