Greetings, I have the latest filters installed and I'm seeing these on occasion in my RemoteExec.log file: 21.02.2013 08:11:38: PlayerNameRemoved (XX.XXX.XX.XX:1234) PlayerGuidRemoved - #1 "allUnits = [];" I'm concerned about the "allUnits = [];". I only see this on occasion and it seems to be the same players who have been kicked for other restrictions. Does this look like a hack? Thanks, Splinter

    Thanks for the reply and clarification. That makes sense. One last question . . . when I compare two sets of coordinates, how do I convert that to actual distance. For example, the following is an excerpt from the admin guide: "we can see that his horizontal location was 47.95 compared to his previous horizontal location of 83.11. The time stamps show that the player moved 4km in 1 minute." How was the 4km calculated? Thanks again, Splinter

    I have another question regarding detection of teleporting. I'm assuming that if a hacker teleports another player, the position entries in the Hive.log could be false positives and make it look like the teleported player was doing the hacking. Is this correct? Thanks again for the help and advice. Splinter

    First of all, thank you for the administration guide. I read through it and learned a lot! Can someone clarify something for me regarding coordinates. In the excerpt from the guide below, where does the position 133 come from? I'm confused.

    Log File Help

    Greetings, I was looking through my CreateVehicle log and saw 212 of the following entries: 15.02.2013 10:03:32: XXXX (XX.XX.XX.XX:XXXX) Some Player GUID - #1 "G_40mm_SmokeYellow" 609:19 609:5 Camo1_DZ [4721,2590,18] [-39,-68,-12] They were all from the same player and within a span of 4 seconds. Does this look like a hack or is this the nature of how the Smoke Grenades work? Thanks, Splinter

  11. Greetings, As a Server admin, I'm trying to learn more about how the various filter files work. Does it matter what order the entries are in? For example, I was messing around with the scripts.txt file and thought I would organize all of the log(1) entries together and move them below the kick(5) entires. When I reloaded the filters, I seemed to trigger a bunch of script restriction kicks. I put the orginal file back quickly! :) Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks, Keith
  12. Dwarden, I have a quick question . . . Is there anything you can think of that I could have messed up in applying your filters, that would have disabled the Chat feed from BERcon? For some reason, for the past two days, I am not getting any chat feed from BERcon. I used to see Vehicle, Direct, Group, etc... Thank you also for the work you do on your filters, they have been working great! Keith
  13. Greetings, Starting yesterday, I'm not seeing any chat messages from the BERcon utility. Is there a setting in the server configuration that I might have changed? I used to see chat traffic from vehicle, side, direct, etc... Now I see nothing. Thank you in advance for your help. Keith
  14. Quick update: HFB notified me that a new version of the 1.7.5.1 update was available in their updates section. I installed the new version and everything is working well now. Regards, Keith
  15. Ok, I was able to revert back to 1.7.4.4 and all equipment, vehicles and tents are back. I'm gonna sit tight until we get an official response regarding this issue. I hate to see my regular players lose everything. Thanks to all who verified the same issue. Keith
