So the "Clan Recruiting", "Trading" and "DayZ Picture Gallery" sub-forums are more important than the ones we're asking for back? Come on guys are you really thinking this through? Who is ultimately making this decision? A separate sub-forum for your favorite "screen shots" is more important? Someone ought to be embarrassed by that! With all due respect, why be so stubborn about this? How is adding the forums back that we are asking for going to prevent you from moving forward? You could even give us one sub-forum back for Server Admins. That would be better than the crap you have us buried in now. I purchased the Alpha and the Stand-Alone is looking great, but it's not done yet. You guys are acting like you have a finished product ready to hit the store shelves and you're on a mission to get rid of the old. Well, you're not that close and a lot of players are still playing the Mod while waiting for the Stand-Alone to get finished. A good share of your player base for the Stand Alone is going to come from the DayZ Mod community. Why would you do anything to take away from their experience or our ability to support them right now? That's just poor business logic and an unfortunate "FU" attitude toward the community that's made this game so great. It is not a better place to have Cheat Reporting on our own websites. It belongs here in a central place, to alert all of the server admins that a Hacker may be heading their way. They almost always hop from server to server sharing their hacking love!!! Sorry for the rant, but I don't appreciate the "we won't budge" mentality. That's a slap in the face to a lot of people who have supported this Mod. That includes those of us who have paid to host servers and give players a nice place to game. Splinter

As Skydive correctly pointed out, important threads are getting buried underneath server advertisements and spam. I know you moderators work hard at keeping these forums clean and believe me, it is very much appreciated! Greetings, All good points being made. I understand getting ready for the Stand-Alone, but I don't think removing some of the key sub-forums makes sense yet. As server Admins/Owners, we need those server categories to be able to help one another. I would like to ask that the Cheating Reporting, Ban Appeal and Server General sub-forums be restored at least. PLEASE! It is very important that we can alert each other to cheaters, ask server operator type questions and respond to ban appeals. Those threads are now buried among a variety of topics and have lost the visibility that they deserve. Continuing to keep the DayZ Mod experience a positive one, can only help SA once it is completed. Regards, Splinter

Greetings Players, Last night US 3533 went down around 9:54 PM EST. The outage was due to a network problem which affected multiple servers. AngrySpider, The Anti-Hack tools that we have available to us as Admins, work well but are not perfect. Sometimes they do give us false alerts which can result in the occasional mistaken Ban. When a player brings to my attention that they feel they were banned by mistake, I manually pour through the logs files again, to verify the integrity of the Ban. I ALWAYS try to give the benefit of the doubt to the player. If there was a mistake made, the bans are removed promptly. You can see an example of this on first post in this thread, under the section titled "Bans Removed." It's a shame that you felt the need to start off your first communication to me by calling me a "complete tool" and "Dumbfuck." Obviously you are new to my server or you would realize that I'm a very reasonable Admin/Owner who is always willing to discuss a Ban or any other concerns for that matter. I will look through the log files to see if your ban was a mistake. If a mistake was made, I'll let you decide if you want to continue playing on US 3533. However, if you do, it will be with a more civil tone and attitude than what you've demonstrated here. Regards, Splinter

Carbine781, No personal disrespect intended, but I think it's absolutely ridiculous and meaningless to write a review regarding an Alpha release. Especially when it has been clearly stated that it is only an "Alpha" release and is a work in progress. You put a lot of time critiquing aspects of the game and systems that aren't even finished yet.
