Has Thou not played Rust? That shit's buggy as hell, and its current concepts were made in such a lazy way if you brought the game expecting it to have a heap of content, than you didn't even read the several warnings when buying it or the massive warnings on start-up SA has had its problems since it started there is DEFINITELY no denying it, But don't try and pretend that rust is a knight in shining armour and regarding your comment I don't think you even know the beginning of coding and how to fix major problems making open criticism is fine, but don't couple it with ignorant post's and supposed 'facts' . and that's all that needs to be said on the matter.. -
Moding isn't aloud in its current state, to my knowlage Dayz is copyright protected until such times as BI&Dayz Dev team allow moding for Dayz that's why The guys that did the Arma3 variants of breaking point and 2017 didn't have Dayz in their name, and are suppost to not have any dayz specific code (although you can only do something so many ways before they look similar)

The KOS conundrum, problem/solution.

the KOS mentality has been around since people started PvPing early in the mod it would be good to limit the amount of KOS, however players shouldn't be limited by killing other players Its apart of the game If you're talking about it from its simulation roots, look at it this way Look at the new textures and clothing, you can tell that the apocalypse has been around for awhile, once you take that into account you take away the "not many people would do bad things" idea, Just look at any zombie movie, A Prime example is The walking dead and how as the seasons progress it becomes more of a "if they look like they could be ever dangerous, shoot them" Less KOS would be good But finding ways to limit it cannot be based on limiting how people can play -

As Jonny45 said, if you brought the game on steam, it was Dayz (standalone) "Dayz Mod" Is a Modification for ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead, It was The original Dayz and is what lead to the creation of Dayz (standalone) They are quite different in many aspects, both have their Pro's and Con's -

You're thinking of Epoch Not Dayz Unfortunately -
Adding in Vehicles Would require massive work to create the physics for, As Currently there are no Physics, and they are required to be made specifically for Dayz I'm Hoping the focus after Work Continues on the game would be to fix the bugs and problems caused in it, Don't expect many things to be added Quickly, Treat it like KSP , Or Zomboid And expect the game to change with better features in a few months

Server Hop Solution: Lock to server

bottom line, server hopping was in the mod for official servers and will be in SA When the time comes for the possibility of Private hives, then server hopping would become less common with each server being seperate from another But the idea of official servers is for them to be linked, it sucks that people abuse it to farm loot and ghost, but That's the pain of it What might be an idea, would be an option to be able to "favorite" a specific server and then get benefits from playing on a favorite server, such as a little extra when spawning, then A way to resolve the combat logging could be a 10 second timer, and to be unconscious when you spawn back in if you break the timer, much like how the epoch system is regarding it -

Please read what I said regarding the way you type and the effect it has on peoples responses. I agree the melee system is bad and impossible to use indoors because of the system "Imagine Mount and blade swing system only shittier" Devs have known about the problems with melee for awhile, but It requires more than a simple fix for it to work properly.

Maybe it might have something to do with the way he types "OMG THE MELEE SYSTEM IS CRAP FIX IT FIRST NOW" There were a heap of warnings about the way the game's bugs are welcome to an early access alpha game Try and create a better structured post and people would take proper notice of them
