Pfft. All this whining about KoS. KoS isn't the problem ya nits. I shoot and kneecap fresh spawns for the lulz every so often, just because I can and it's fucking HILARIOUS. The rage tears are the greatest. If i'm feeling generous, i'll knock you out so you can respawn. If i'm not, i'll let you crawl for a long while. Why? Because I fuckin' can. Would you prefer a kneecap and crawling or being KoS? You can also be KoS inland, at NWAF, by a guy camping the roads from Stary to Vybor, you can be killed anywhere. Getting KoS isn't a dick move. What I like to do for lulz sometimes is the ultimate dick move. Dying is annoying, but ultimately it's not griefing. What I do is griefing. Direct your hate elsewhere, towards me perhaps, because I actually commit acts of dickery. KoS isn't dickery. It's just being smart. I don't know you, you don't know me. We can offer nothing of value to each other, but we can take everything away from each other in a second. KoS is a fucking sound tactic if you want to stay alive and thats your style. Or you can just hide the woods and never take the shot, either way it's your choice. -

64-bit is being tested and worked on right now, the AI navmesh is being baked and tested right now. World containers are being tested internally right now. The only thing I have not heard any advancement on is persistent storage and rag-doll. They're not on the mark, but they're close enough. -
Completely fine tbh. Other than it swaying left to right instead of also going up and down, it's completely manageable.

No. Improvised grenades should be relatively easy to make. The grenades in the mod were incredibly common, kill atleast 3 soldier zombies, have a grenade. Grenades NEED to be implemented ASAP. That's how real fire fights devolve into in real life when fighting against an entrenched defender. You use grenades and smoke to dislodge the defender, frighten them, shake their resolve. We have nothing that is capable of doing that right now. I don't want satchels, satchels were awful in the mod, rare and completely useless in almost every circumstance. Give me grenades over a satchel everyday. Grenades are useful, have a proper purpose AND are fun.

Still incredibly clunky. That's just engine limitations though. A good way to make melee good is an indepth medical system, so melee will be clunky as fuck still, but getting hit by one isn't going to be something you just shrug off.

Wait it out. I REALLY wish we had the improvised grenades about now, and smoke. Fighting against entrenched players atm is a long, drawn out boring affair.

He is. It's not a "new" engine. It's the same old DayZ engine with all the fancy improvements. (Render being ripped out, the physx, ect) It just has a name now.

The server I was admin on wasn't a very high traffic server, we had regulars and a decent amount of random traffic. I wouldn't even bother combing through logs. I would check the players gear, how long they were alive for and their movements. You can find a lot of basic cheaters by going through the new guy's who join/are fresh and seem to ALWAYS have an AS50 with 2 mags, and a full toolbelt. Those guys made up the bulk of hacking traffic on the server. Had a rule on the server that bans are appeal-able but it was at our discretion if at the moment evidence had indicated otherwise. Got a few bad bans, but set the guys back up once we verified. -

Depending on the storage conditions of said gasoline, it can be OKAY for use for up to 3 years. But gas will evaporate, the additives can cause issues, but all in all, gas doesn't expire all that quickly if storage conditions are good. -

Hombre, as I said before. They have no leg to stand on so they continue with these exaggerated statements, and keep using the "REALISUM" card when I have already stated, my opinion on this subject is not realism or authenticity based, it's for a game play perspective yet they do not understand this. Katana has made excellent posts regarding this and they are ignored by them because it conflicts with the way they view the game. -

Lmao. Now you're really fucking reaching. But, add in plenty of different fishing rods, such as fly fishing, deep sea fishing, carp rods, surf rods, trolling rods. It will give me more stuff to collect and allow me to do the things that their intended function is for. I wouldn't expect to make a fishing rod ingame and then be able to use it to fish in the sea. See. The debate about guns isn't for realism, and that's what you don't get. It's for gameplay reasons. But, you're thick and don't understand that point. But it's okay son. We understand. -
