Duuuuuur huuuuur. I'm a sarcastic douche. I was implying people aren't taking care of themselves properly. Like I said, i've been sick once, and resolved it fairly quickly with smart playing.

How the F are people getting sick and unhealthy so much? I've been sick once, because I mistakenly ate a rotten banana. Luckily I had anti-biotic's and vitamins. I was lacking water, I only had soda. I kept myself well fed, paced myself (Jog/run intervals) and I got better not to long after a few rounds of anti's and vitamins. It's all about your pace when your sick. Don't over exert.

I was thinking, not a friends system, but like a tagging system both please need to accept into. Like, you can remember their face, and it gives you a little chat indicator. "Oh, it's just Jimmy" when you get close suddenly.

It doesn't fit the setting, nor would the military deploy a .50 sniper rifle in the event of the zombie apocalypse. It's not practical. On that note, .maybe a 50 cal could be added in the future, as a vehicle mounted weapon when vehicles and vehicle modding is added and working, and make the ammo super rare, because ya know the troops expended most of them on the oncoming hordes.

Having issues with the game version on the bugtracker. I set it to the correct version, nothing so. Anyways, I tried to kill myself.I jumped off a tall apartment bloc outside of cherno. I fell, and I lived. I did it again a couple more times because I spawned in the same damn spot each time. (-_-) Anyways, I thought it might be that god mode glitch, but some guy saw me fall and live, and decide to shoot me, and shoot me he did, then I died. So, i'm not to sure, but I think fall dmg might be slightly buggy.

Wolle, as I said. I was able to die from a gunshot, but never the fall damage. It's weird.

I really don't mind the darkness. With moonlight, it's usually just right. And if illumination actually worked properly (Stupid Headlamp is annoying as hell to use when crouched) like the flash light projecting a giant bat signal to anyone in the vicinity. Flares and chem lights and such. But that is all in due time. As comprise I would suggest making it a bit brighter for now.

Just wanted to say i'm lovin' the alpha so far. Runs well, looks good. All that jazz. But, I have only encountered one zombie so far, and yet to meet another player. Which sucks, because I wanted to test out my hatchet. :D And I've noticed a lot of people complaining about getting sick really easily dehydrated and hungry. I've yet to encounter bad effects. I don't get the thirsty option often or that I am tired. Good pace seems to be everything here, and i'm liking it so far.

The tank traps are called Hedgehogs, in game they're called Czech Hedgehogs. Tanks traps, Hedgehogs, call em what you will.

Civilian Items, Weapons, and Bandages

Yes, story can be added for timelines sake, that these events happened in it's history, so there could be a weapons caches and other weapons lost in previous conflicts. Other wise, should only see Russian and area specific weapons and ammunition, and maybe some imported/smuggled/criminal weapons that have been used, but the previous owners, well died. Know what I mean? DayZ needs a little more story as to why we can find some of these weapons. Something that happened in the countries past? Ect, didn't themes could be used. -

Well, if you want to really go with something about the amount of weapons in Chernarus. If we still follow about from the campaign in Harvest Red, Invasion, American forces pull out. Russian Army take over peacekeeping Operations. There are also Chedaki insurgents and NAPPA(I think) rebel fights. If we use that storyline because well. Those are events in the history Chernarus. Just sayin' you could put a little spin with that to justify a little bit of variations in the weaponry. .. :) -

So, today when traveling through Chernarus and all the villages and cities. I got to thinking, horrible I know. They all just kind of feel there, like they serve no real purpose other than being, well, a backdrop, scenery if you will. I go to Cherno, same loot I can find in Electro, and vice versa, and all over. So what I am proposing is this: Make each city, village town ect have a central story behind it, take Berzino for example. It should be a tourist kind of city, and where wealthy Chernarus citizens make there home, and tourists gather. And only certain kind of loot spawns there, such as useless trinkets or other valuables and such. The idea needs fleshing out, so this is why I turn to the community to help flesh it out, or shoot it down. So, whatchu guys think? I know it's not exactly clear, but I think you guys get the point. :D

No, but I mean unique loot, related to the city, since Cherno seems like the agricultural capital of Cherno, maybe find pitchforks, more rural type of things one would find in a city where farmers spend alot of their time. Yaknow what I mean? -
Or you know, they could have simply asked for the names to be changed instead of removing them right off the bat. It added variety in the food? And how the fuck does it break immersion? I can walk into my local grocery store and buy some pretty messed of brands. Now, what about it breaks your immersion? OMFG DERPY HOOVES CANNED MUFFINS? WHAT EVER SHALL I DO, THESE SO BREAK MY IMERRSION. (Intentional misspelling) It added variety to the game and was a nice nod to the admins, while some of the names, yes are retarded, it did not break my immersion in the least. There are other things people could go complain about. All you needed to do was ask nicely, and I guarantee you, they would have looked into it, and possibly changed the names of them. Instead of remove them outright. Because quite frankly, it's just a fucking texture. That you can barely see. And it turns into a tin can after you use it... Fuck you silly twats with "IT BRUKS MAH IMURSON." It's supposed to be a sim, yes. But this was not game breaking in any shape or form. Whatsoever. /rant

Return the cans now. Seriously the whiners were just being fucking whiners. I want to play the 1.7.6 servers, not the hotfixed ones because more variety with the food. LAME. Please just ignore the bitching bitches. There was nothing wrong with them. :(

Hipfire is a legitimate tactic when im turning a corner and get surprised by some dude who is just as surprised as I am. And we both open up on each other, the cross hair makes this currently to easy and viable. I'm all for it it. They're already kind of wonky anyways.
