If a sniper in a bush 700 meters away can hit me while i'm zigzaging through an open field, he deserved that kill. Sniping deaths are very rare, I actually don't think i've ever been killed by a mosin at any range exceeding 300 meters. Sure it can happen and it does. But I don't bitch and moan that my gear is gone. I grit my teeth and take the plunge again. This game isn't for you. Stop complaining, we will never have a PVE only option. You remove half the game doing that. But you PVE tards don't seem to understand that. You're not special, You will fucking die, clawing and screaming as your dragged down. The only thing you can do is be a man and do it all again.

Melee should be the baseline though. It imposes a bleak feeling. It makes it scary, knowing if you want that guys stuff, you're going to have to get close and personal. But what if that guy also has a pistol tucked away that he worked hard to find. You don't know that, but you want his stuff, and you can't take it from him by shooting him from 300 meters away in a bush. Firearms should be a prize, not something I can always find without fail.

We need a better melee system. More types of guns, less of them to be found. Melee should be the baseline, while having a firearm a luxury.

Magpul attachments man magpul. Put everything magpul on that sonafabitch and watch as your accuracy is greatly improved.

Over the shoulder camera would be fine in my opinion, but it would still allow people to abuse the camera for an unfair advantage. I'm all for removing 3pp but it would impact a huge part of the player base. Not a lot of people like running through the woods in 1pp. But it SHOULD be like that, but it isn't because of the backlash it would cause. Should've never even have implemented 3pp into the SA, then people couldn't complain about an option that was never there.

So...anyone notice how it looks like the CDF didn't even put up the slimmest resistance against the infection? What I am proposing is this. To bring attention away from everyone making straight bee lines to the nearest AF or base. I want to see roadblocks, entrenched positions where soldiers made a stand against the infection. Checkpoints, military refugee/quarantine camps. It would add a lot more to the atmosphere and potential loot locations. But in these locations you have a higher chance of finding damaged weapons, maybe half empty mags. That kind of thing ya know? Something to draw people away from the main military installations.

Jealous and mad at what? The evidence has been posted, and it's up to you to make the decision on what you think. He undermined the whole point of DayZ. You have other guys who are 10x better than Frankie, yet they don't have half the recognition as he does, and he attained that fame through lies and illicit means. He's nothing but a charlatan, and you're defending a swindler. He played everyone for financial gain, and you ate it all up.

People gave an F about Armstrong cheating... and he lost almost everything after those allegations. Frankie fan bois are basically allowing this guy to live off playing video games even though he blatantly lies to them. He makes 5k a month off youtube, and did nothing to deserve that kind of fame. (Other than editing a video together and lying about the authenticity of the events portrayed.) There are much better DayZ players out there who deserve to be making that kind of you tube money other than a dirty fraud.

He's not liked because he hacks. (Some will try and refute this, but the evidence provided is more than enough to make an informed opinion.) He's a good video editor, and he makes himself out to be this godly DayZ player when in reality he is nothing but a script kiddie. He's a fraud, he lied to his fans and his "100% Legit" content is not legit. A lot of it is staged.

I'm cool with a few predatory animals. Chernarus could have a zoo. Well, when the apocalypse happened those animals broke out. Since some animals would be better suited to surviving in a new environment than other, they possibly reproduced and there are now small numbers of some exotic animals sustaining themselves. Make em' a rare sight, uncommon compared to game animals and make em' threats. Now you have to compete with other predatory animals that are hunting the same kind of game as you are.

70ish. Mostly botched robberies or being ambushed. A decent number of those are outright murder, people shouldn't wear the payday masks man.. they're a bright white target.

Trashy. You're abusing the system for no other reason than personal gain. I play med pops servers, because the population peaks and falls. This always a constant tension that I could run into anyone, anywhere, and it's happened many times. I don't hop, never needed to. Mosins are plentiful, weapons are plentiful. Only reason I would venture close to an airfield is to obtain a hunting scope. I wasn't in it to get uber-leet weapons. You don't need to hop to get good gear, you need to know where to look and not be an impatient fuck about it. The point of the game is unbalance. Because a dude has a gun and fucks up your day is apart of the game. I've never let it get me down, I chalk it up to my own hubris and mistakes. I made a mistake if i'm unarmed and let a bastard shoot me.

I think we should have to cannibalize parts. Make it like the attachments, each weapon has smaller parts such as the spring ect. These each have conditions, and if the gun is not properly maintained, these parts should take damage. So say I find an M4. And my weapon has a few bad parts. The new M4 I find is in say, worn condition. (The gun itself, meaning it hasn't been kept clean or it's been through some shit) So I cannibalize it, basically taking the gun apart to its base components. There I find a few parts that are in better condition that on the weapon I have. I have to keep my M4 in good condition to prevent my already wearing down parts from getting any worse. But with these new parts I can take my weapon apart and then switch them with the new, better kept pieces that I have found. This way there is another whole new layer to weapon maintenance other than just hoping you find a weapon that's in good condition. You should have to worry about the internal components mucking up on you.

If your going to self blood bag yourself, the way I see it should be a longer process. The saline or blood bag has a percent count down so it heals over time. You don't have to stand still, but you insert it into yourself and it either has to be your hands or a vest pocket. You have to avoid strenuous actions such as sprinting for long periods or switching stances to much in a short period of time or the IV line has a chance of falling out, and losing fluid. But if you wait it out, avoid to much moving or if you walk the healing is slightly faster.

Why can't people ever do some research prior to purchasing something. Do a little googlese and thou shall receive the information one is looking for. It's not hard. We're not here to hold your hand, when you won't even lift it.

So, the Chedaki are now confirmed as apart of DayZ lore. Meaning, the USA was in Chernarus before the events of DayZ. Therefore, we can now all lay to rest why we can find Western weapons.

Bullets will ricochet, they can even pen through some walls. (My buddy was killed by a guy shooting through a tent) And I myself was hit by a ricochet from a bullet hitting the wall I was next too. Sometimes bullets will even go through one person then into someone behind them. (Got a double zombie kill with the .45, round went right through the first, the 2nd, then smacked the wall behind them.)

Mumble will give you an overlay option to see your FPS(It's like TS) I also use razer game booster to milk out a few extra FPS. I play the game with 20-25 frames and dip to about 15 frames inside big cities like elctro if there is a lot of commotion. You might be able to run the game, not very pretty or very nicely, but you might be able to play if you can bear with those kinda of frame rates.

Well, this one time, in Novy Sobor... My friend blood bagged me with my own blood from about an hour earlier. I died. It does seem random sometimes. Good thing you brought this up. I had just thought that maybe he had used his blood on me instead.
