Gibonez. As much as the majority of us would love to see this kind of stuff, it won't happen.. DayZ is no longer going to be an anti-game. Unless they have some integrity, a lot of things are going to be dumbed down, which is sad because it strays away from it's core philosophy.

Regardless if he wanted the M4 as CQC weapon adding magpul parts doesn't affect accuracy in the slightest in real life, just how the weapon handles. If I aim an M4 at a target 200 meters away, it's going to hit where I was fucking aiming at, not fly off to the left, then the right and hit everything but what I was aiming at. It's called cone of fire, and it's absolutely bullshit. Let's not even get started about the lack of damage the M4 does ingame at anything other than 100 meters. It was my favourite weapon in the mod, did some amazing things with it. Annoys me how shit it is in this game. If it's for "balancing" issues.. I weep for the game, because it's no longer going to be the anti-game I want it to be. There should be no semblance of balance.

Trolling? Ain't nobody trolling. It was simply a remark about how the accuracy of the M4 is STILL garbage at this point in time due to cone of fire. You're going to fuck up the bows something fierce at the start just like the M4 is fucked.

On regards to the infinite ammo, i've accidentally done it with desync before. Me and my buddy were running around, and he started like, lets say teleporting 10 meters ahead of me. I get annoyed and tell him to stop, and stops. On my screen he keeps moving. So I go into my inventory to try and see if i can right click and inspect it; nope. I start wildly shooting my shotgun in the air while telling me buddy im going to log off to try and fix it. When I fired off my shotgun, I spam clicked the fire button, and my buddy said it was like I was shooting it full auto from what he saw since he was not desyncing. But, I know hacks exist but it's really hard to distinguish them from some of the bugs right now. :|

Because we're not all archers, so we would not effectively know how to use one. You guys already try to simulate lack of skill with firearms with the stupid cone of fire shenanigans, so something gamey like this seems right up your alley.

Played the mod since the early days. Really got into ARMA 2 when it came out in 2009. I have barely any hours into the SA compared to most other players. I'm not all that interested in killing everyone I meet, people are pretty resistant to getting robbed in a peaceful manner nowadays.

To the people who say it's not possible. It is, I've seen footage from I think VBS2 where one of the infantrymen engages a target inside the vehicle with his own weapon. Will update the post when I can find the damn footage again.

You keep making these dim-witted posts. Most people here enjoy the game, and we understand what criticism is. I have my fair share of complainants about the game but I don't come running to the forum to voice them like a whiny toddler. Voice your opinion in a clear, concise manner and get straight to the point. You're trying to be troll-bait. You blow everything out of proportions. Like I said, you care more about this game then the rest of us. We see DayZ SA at this point in time for what it is, an Alpha test. Criticism is welcomed, suggestions are welcome. Report bugs, find glitches report them. People need to understand this is NOT a finished product. If you can't handle the product at this stage of development, come back when it's near completion or it is complete.

Indeed, Darkwave indeed. Signs and little clues of what has happened would be great. We would have players dedicated to searching for the clues and piecing what has happened together. It would be great. Especially for people like me who love that kind of shit.

If it wasn't apart of the Armaverse, there would be no Chedaki beret. For this I am glad. Keep the history of Chernarus intact, and give us a bit of tidbits about what happened. General information and we can make it our "Own story" after.

So. The SKS is now a single chamber only on the experimental servers. What the actual fuck? It was fine the way it was before, hell if you want it to simulate how long it would take, just make the animation not use the stripper clip that you implemented for the reload animation and take a few seconds longer to reload. Jesus, fix this or the SKS is completely useless in a fight considering the rarity of the stripper clips. I don't know if it's a bug or not, because I had my SKS from when the experimental patch went live, it had a full ammo capacity when I logged on, I remove the ammo to check how many I had in my gun, and then I can only load a single round? Would like to know if this a confirmed bug or if this is intended. :|

Ammo spawns are like this for now, so we can actually test the weapons. Everything will come full circle when the game is considered ready for release.

Chernarus is a nice place with a decent backstory. Why people don't give 2 shits about the story i'll never know. It's like playing the campaign in a singeplayer game and just skipping all the cut scenes and just blazing through the game to play the set pieces. That's boring. A good game will always have a good story, something to flesh out the scenario you are in, to make you have some sort of investment in it. It's like reading a book.

I'm quite happy with the rage I have incited. Frankie always brings a heated discussion about. I didn't even call out hackusations. Just what I think of the fellow.

People really, really need to stop trying to emulate Frankie. He's an awful, awful person AND bad at DayZ.
