  1. Question (the same thing is happening to me) what is this port-fowaring and router and firewall stuff? I've heard of it but ive never seen or heard what Im supposed to do with this stuff. Please respond. I downloaded this game last week and have not yet been in 1 DayZ server succesfully. Also, if you could go on my profile and find my other posts and try to help with that i would appreciate it, but I want to know what this stuff is before that. Thanks.
  2. One more problem. Sometimes when I do see the three red lines for BattlEye in the bottom left, and I see the one starting with GUID, and i actually can click "OK" on the server i get stuck at "Retrieving Data Files 0KB/KB" then after a few seconds again "BattlEye client not responding". Whenever this happens, it is the farthest i actually get into the server. Please help.
  3. Here's the deal, I just installed the latest DayZ patch (1.7.5.1) and also the latest Arma 2 beta patch (101480). However the problem is with the beta patch. When I am on DayZ commander, it shows that i have the latest beta patch (i also did it manually to be sure) but when I launch DayZ in the bottom right corner it says version: 1.62.100296. I'm hoping that this is the problem to my BattlEye Client Not Responding problem because this BattlEye thing is shit. I know it has also caused thousands of other people trouble in playing the game, and i am a new player so I havent even gotten into 1 match!! I know DayZ is in alpha and has a ton of bugs and glitches but they need to fix this. It's not only me, i see hundreds of other forums posts on this BattlEye and it seems no one has a solution. I dont want to have wasted $25 for nothing so can someone please help. With either problem. It sucks just having to watch peoples lets plays and stuff but i cant experience it myself. I hope the standalone comes out soon too, b/c im sure theyll have this problem fixed in the standalone.
  4. How can I apply for a whitelist to this server? Btw, it is exactly what I have been looking for, thanks. If i can just get in now..
  5. P.S. I want an American server if possible.
  6. I hate these DayZ servers. All of them either have some stupid 300+ vehicle thing or something crazy like that. I just want a normal, (regular mode) Chernarus server. Please, anyone. I'm tired of these servers. Just fixed my BattlEye problem and now i can't even join a good server.
  7. It's annoying because I don't want to have wasted $25 and 3 days worth of time trying to figure it out so I just keep looking even though i know there is probably no way to fix it :|
  8. Hello, I know I am very late to this but I was looking for help b/c I have the BattlEye client problem, and I tried your way but it still kicks me even after I wait for the three lines in red. Do you know if this is because something changed since you first posted this or not? Because DayZ seems like an amazing game to play, but I cannot even get on one server ever since I installed it. Also, I have tried waiting a bit after the third line comes up and sometimes it would just kick me without me even clicking "OK". Please help. I don't want to have wasted $25 on this game and 2 days worth of time trying to fix this problem. I just want to start playing the game as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
  9. Ok, so I downloaded DayZ and Arma II/Arma II CO yesterday and I have not been able to join any servers. At first, when I would try to join a server it said "You were kicked off the server (BattlEye: client not responding)" I tried a bunch of different things including copying the BEsetup from the Arma 2 folder into the Arma 2 opperation arrowhead folder. At one point that error message stopped showing up and then it kept showing "Bad Version, sever rejected connection", however I fixed that problem successfully and now it says the BatllEye error message again, and I cant do anything to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
