I'm also having huge issues with the browser, ran perfect until i updated to 1.0 and all of a sudden it just lags out and becomes completley unresponsive and locks the game up during a refresh, wtf?

What is the real need for 100% complete darkness though? I remember a few months ago wandering around at night in 0.63 and seeing the effect of the moonlight hanging in the sky and the lighting up the countryside and forests etc and it was truly an atmospheric and creepy addition to the game, night still made things a bit harder but not frustratingly so. Now we literally have a blank screen and thats it. I could see a better option being having the twilight nights like A3 but inside large buildings, heavy wooded areas, bunkers and caves etc being pitch black and being a challenge to enter, loot and exit from safely. I have been playing on day only community servers and actually miss the day and night cycles, all we need is a balance to be struck with the nights and i think it would make a big difference to things.

WTFUK have recently purchased a 50 slot DayZ server, which we are now making available to all non hacking/cheating players. We are a friendly and mature bunch of gamers who want to create yet another great place for all the DayZ folks to have some adventures in. We welcome groups, teams, clans and of course the lone wolf. You can play any way you like however we won't tolerate excessive abuse towards any other gamers or WTF members. A full list of our servers rules can be found on our website. We also welcome new players and can walk you through your first hours in DayZ. WTF have had a history as a multi gaming community since 2004, and have consistenlty managed to maintain a solid anti cheat and hack ethic in all servers we have ran, we just can't be arsed with it. All we ask is for you to submit your GUID and game handle in this thread, and well get you up and running with us. Our server admins will be updating the whitelist permissions on a reguar basis so expect to be playing on our server with us within the hour. Been playing non stop on this past few days with the clan mates, running well apart from the unavoidable BE errors. Could you possibly do me a big favour and whitelist one of my older members? Hi, we are a Dayz group who are part of the UK based gaming community Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. We have played many games together since 2004 and are long time Arma 2 players. We're a friendly and pretty mature bunch of guys (Big Kids!) who like a laugh and are focused on the fun of playing as a team together more so than we are on our statistics etc. We previously ran a fairly succesful Warfare server with our own edit of Bennys mod on there and have a good standing in the community. What we are offering is a place to get together with other survivors, work as a team and put some tactics and strategies into play with Dayz. We are against hacking in a BIG way and will be spending our time on a whitelisted server and activley helping to discourage hacking and cheating. We have a good sense of community in our clan and are pretty laid back. We routinely share our loot and always go out our way to help other players if we can somehow manage to trust that they wont hatchet us in the back for our goodies! Last night me and a fellow squad mate encountered a wierd hack/glitch, any time we shift+left clicked to place a waypoint on the map we automatically teleported to that spot. Not sure if someone hacked the server or if it was a glitch but it was some wierd shit!

Not too fussed with it to be honest, noticed a few minor changes but nothing i would say drastically changes the gameplay dynamics or ruins the experience for me?

Thanks for the beans mate, we currently have 4 guys who are currently playing Dayz on a regular basis but more of our members are showing interest and im doing a push to recruit dayz more players, looking to look into tactics and strategies etc and have fun, i'll be on your server later on looking forward to it!
