If you need help getting used to the game or learning the ropes, hit me up anytime man. I play on the new Redux mod. There are almost a hundred fixes and added features in DayZ Redux. Here are a few of the most popular ones: Combat loggers (ALT+F4) are instantly killed and leave a corpse behind. Rare Chloroform spawns have been added. You can use it just like a blood bag, and it will knock your victim unconscious for 3.5 minutes. Vehicle inspection has been added, which pops up an interface with any and all damaged parts when you select "inspect" on your vehicle. Any vehicle can be flipped. Despite it being unrealistic, the feature was implemented as a solution to DayZ buggy vehicle moments. Zombies can hear fired weapons 15% further. Crates can be built, using nails and wood. Smaller and more easily-concealed than tents, but with reduced storage space. Tents and crates can be set on fire using a box of matches. This destroys their content and deletes them from the database. New environments, that make exploring certain otherwise boring areas worthwhile. Hardcore spawns. No backpacks, no mercy. Helicopter crashes spawn at random times during the "life" of a server. New crash sites. Over five different kinds to explore, with varying degrees of fire and smoke. Have fun finding them. All snipers removed except for the CZ550 and the M24. Both are rare, and ammo only spawns with the weapon. Higher zombie density. Horde, anyone? New vehicles, including the HMMWV and Vodnik. Enforced play area. No more off-map camping Personal transfusion kits can be created inside of a hospital, using a regular blood bag. 30% chance of draining blood and losing consciousness. Had an issue last night with vehicle / tent spawns and because of our IRC, Adtec and Forceh were able to fix within minutes of the issue being known without even being on. Just another reason you should be on DayZ Unleashed.

Hello! I have been playing DayZ for a few months now and have seen my fair share of both positive and negative moments throughout them. I currently play on a private whitelisted server that is experiencing excellent growth and opportunity to play hacker-free among a variety of different player-types. Building a great community and being a part of something really enjoyable is something I have been searching for. Whether it is starting up a Multi-gaming clan that I can relate and help grow, or a military clan that brings organization, rank and fun-military-simulated tasks / events to this wonderful server. If you are interested in joining me or helping me out, I'd greatly appreciate a response! I want to join and meet some great people, while managing something special in the process. I am 21 years old and have a job so I am quite busy throughout the week days until the evenings in-game. As the DayZ_Unleashed server continues to become more and more active again as the weeks go on, I have been stockpiling a lot of resources to accommodate a squad I have been planning to form. I am still unsure whether this squad will be heroic or cruel, but I do know that survival and proper techniques will be a main focus as we strive to dominate the server. If you are interested in helping me out, I will gladly help you out as well with my stockpiled items to give you a jump start on our server. Are you a lone wolf desperately looking for someone to team up with and watch you back? Are you a Walking Dead fan who would enjoy surviving just like the show?
