I mostly play DayZ so i decided to start a clan for it, but we can play other games too, planetside 2 is a big favorite of mine which is perfect for a clan, but any games you like to play, we can play too! YAY! The clan and server is based in the UK so it would be a lot better for UK residents to apply as we will have trouble accepting people from very different timezones. positive. I know for a fact this isnt true seeing as i own my own server and i can't teleport anyone or spawn in any guns for myself, basically as a server admin, you can just restart the server, set the time, set people's spawn gear and check where players and vehicles are

You might want to put a little more info there buddy. What specific server(s)? Are you a bandit, regular survivor or hero? Can I trust you? What would we use as communication?

Get ARMA 2 now whilst you can, i originally bought it for DayZ and loved it. Then i played all the singleplayer campaigns of ARMA 2, put a good 60 hours into that. I also play on the multiplayer servers, especially wasteland ones, i've put in over 400 hours on that alone. So yes, get the game whilst you can, it has a massive amount of content and you will never find yourself bored whilst you have it there

Go around the northern edge of Cherno until you hit the apartment buildings, loot those and then move south east into the city, hit the firestations, hospital, supermarket and industrial buildings. Then move along the coast to the west. Congrats, you've made it through Cherno alive! (maybe)

Good evening all, I have recently become the admin of my very own server and am having horrible problems (mainly because im a massive noob scrub) with adding in code, like protected areas for specific people only, auto fueling and custom loadouts for uinique ID's. Could i get some help with these? Yes i have tried using the wiki and i still can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) (will post server name if anyone wants to play on it)

No. Here's a better idea, if you get close to a zombie and have a razor in your inventory you can deal with it quickly and quietly. Toilet paper could be used like the empty cans, throw it, make a noise, sneak past. Also i smell graveyard.

Number 1 tip is definitely patience. If you can wait out your enemy, they will eventually slip up and you can get them. This is also helpful when you're not sure whether there are more than one as the others may think you've gone and try to loot their dead friend's body, which is another opportunity to get another kill.

So me and a buddy were driving around the NWAF in our Ural when suddenly a CZ 550 shot came at us. The guy was a terrible shot so he missed 5 rounds. We looped around the north and crept back down behind the fire station where we thought the guy was. Cleared out the zombies with my M4A1 CCO SD and rushed in, closed all the doors and prepared for a close quarter fight. Evidently he wasn't there so we walked up the tower to check the loot. We were both crouching on the second floor when i saw something by the broken heli just outside of the firestation. I move one step and in the same second a bullet flies and hit's the wall behind me, right where my head was. My heart is racing, I dive to the floor and my buddy runs down the stairs, this is when i see another player with a pistol being attacked by a zombie. So we have two guys outside, one we know is hostile and one that's running around like a headless chicken and is possibly hostile. Another 3 shots hit the wall above me and i roll into more cover, meanwhile my buddy is firing his little M16 at the guy at the heli, whilst i get a chance i try and take out the guy that is running across the airfield with a pistol. I hit him a couple of time and break his legs, he then gets mauled by zombies and dies. My buddy finally takes out the guy by the heli and we stop for a little healing session. After we are all healed my buddy heads to the Ural to distract the zombies and i run to the dead guy by the heli to check his gear. Before i can get there my buddy sees another player looting the guy we killed. We panic and i begin to unload on him, but out of nowhere my buddy comes belting from behind the hangers and smashes right into this guy which knocks him out. I run up to him, bandage him and give him some blood and tell him how he shouldn't have been there when we were there. The idiot wakes up and starts trying to shoot me with his CZ 550, so i unload on him again and kill him. We loot the dead guys and drive off in our little Ural to a chopper crash nearby and find a couple of DMRs and an SVD camo. All in all, that was a good first day of banditry :)

Use DayZ commander and click the "Hide Unofficial" option, it should display only the vanilla game.

Well we participated in a server event, Admins Vs Players in a Devil's Castle attack and defence. Needless to say we stormed the castle with Makarovs and tried to steal their helis. We got in the air and then got shot down, that was fun.

Just got my new PC and im installing everything onto it at the moment, i should have DayZ up and running by tomorrow afternoon

I used to run a clan which got pretty damn popular, we had like over 100 members solely for DayZ, we once crashed a server by having 45 people swinging hatchets in one of the firestations in Elektro. Anyway, tangent over. Playing with a group is a lot of fun, but playing in a small group of 3-5 makes it even better! I usually play with my friend, but his PC melted and i'm waiting for mine to be delivered to me *grumble grumble* and i would like to get back in a small group of people to play with. I am also from the UK, i play mainly in the evenings as I have to work all day, i'm a social retard so i don't really go out much at the weekends so i'm usually here, collecting my beans. As you might be able to tell, i rant a lot about boring stuff xD Long story short, i should be getting my new PC on thursday, when i get it all set up and i finally unleash the beast on DayZ, i'll give you a bell on Skype, hope we can play sometime!
