I was just wondering what everyone's favorite player hunting gun (or loadout) is. My ideal gun for player hunting is the CZ 550, it can knock players out so you can run up and taunt them before executing them. It has a decent scope on it, very easy to use, high range and it just looks very nice. My ideal loadout would be the CZ 550, M4A1 CCO SD and the PDW.

Use DayZ commander, it detects that you have it through steam and will allow you to roll back to any previous versions of the mod/update to the latest version. Plus you can get other maps like namalsk and taviana.

That isn't the case. I have a seperate HDD that i use specifically for DayZ and other DayZ mods like origins. I have 850gig left on there so there is no way that is not enough space. It is definitely going to that drive, i have checked, re-checked and re-checked it.

My origins stopped working and i've got the same problem, it's been like it for about a month now, I still try and repair it every couple of days and it gets to about 98% and fails. I think I might just give up....

Please put a better description of your server on here.... E.G. Full detailed description (map, what changes have you made) IP address How many players the server supports just some helpful tips post all that and i'll give it a shot

DayZ mod has a load of articulation on the zombies which causes massive load on the PC, M&B doesn't have all that articualtion, hence why it can have a tonne of NPCs on screen at the same time without causing horrendous frame drops. Congrats :P

Only if they sort out the horrendous frame drops that some people get when they see a group of 30+ zombies

If they didn't run but were insanely powerful, i'd like that. 2 hit kill but they could only walk, that would be sweet

Have you got the HDR setting to it's max? That might do something

BAMBIWORLD UK 16:50 (GMT +1) Me and a friend were hunting some guys down at the NWAF. We hid in the fire station to wait them out, next thing i know, i'm dead. No shots fired, no one that could possibly kill me (unless they got a lucky shot through the door?). The death message came up, MR YOLOSWAG WAS KILLED BY KAZE WITH WEAPON M14_AIM_SD. This weapon is not in DayZ, and i'm pretty sure it isn't even in ARMA 2 it'self (i could be wrong). The server didnt have custom weapons on so it wasn't that. The admin refused to punish this guy because i was a bandit and KAZE is his brother or something. Possible hack, definite admin abuse.

CZ550. Bolt action + wood + nice looking scope = best looking gun in the game.

Draw a map on the toilet roll. You could set a drawing start location, then run to another location, select stop drawing and you now have a drawing of that bit that you ran along, say a 50m - 100m radius.

I'd like to build on this but have it in russian, that way the player actually has to do some work to find the crashed heli. Think about it, the first time you you hear one you'd be like wtf is that, then over a few hours of playing and receiving radio messages you'd begin to understand certain bits through repetitive listening. You'd also be able to speak a bit of russian through playing a game, how cool is that ? :D (playing metro 2033 in russian with english subs is how i learnt most of the russian i speak)

Hey, i've got my own server that i've focused on making the game as vanilla as possible, but making it unique. You do spawn with some basic gear, a map, hatchet and makarov. We also have a clan if you're interested in running with a few others regularly on the server.
