So I got on earlier today and spawned in. Mind you my char has been alive for two days now. Then everyone in the server spontaneously dies...like en masse. Everyone starts screaming "hacker" Then I spawn back at the beach...and the server loses session. I look in the list, and Dallas 2 and 3 are gone. They're the only servers I play in because of the ping. So I wait, and then Dallas 3 comes back up...with 13 people in it.... And it's locked. What gives?

I suspect you often don't bother reading people's complete posts, but I don't really care if you read mine or not. Given that just this very night I encountered two people in Usa3 advocating the total removal of PvP aspects I think it's worth making the argument I made. Why don't you take your opinions back to the threads with the "True discussion"? If you've decided you have NOTHING to add to this thread why post at all? Your wisdom is clearly better shown elsewhere. You are either incredibly sensitive or incredibly bored. Do you require an apology or a good book? I shall provide neither; Nor will anyone else. Why are you here? While it's important to argue about the various ways the PvP system can be tweaked I also feel it's necessary to argue FOR PvP in and of itself, lest enough of a clamor build up around it's removal that it actually effects the mod. Regarding the bandits-have-better camouflage bit. I find it far harder to notice people in light desert camouflage as compared to those in white shirts with blue bullet-proof vests. A fact that has helped me track more than one man I found pilfering my stash. But that is by the by. Nah I neither expect nor require an apology from you. It is noteworthy that I could deduce from your general poor attitude that you are someone that doesn't find much fault in himself and therefore doesn't see any need for him to ever say he was sorry. That's a personality flaw you might want to look into. On the PVP, this game would be nothing with PVP. That excitement you get when you're being shot at or chased by a bandit is why I keep playing. If it were pure zombies, I'd get as bored as I do playing in Domination servers. It's why I played ACE Warfare for so long...the competition between players.

There's a difference between sarcasm and calling people crybabies because they don't share your particular opinion. And don't mask it behind "Oh I'm from England." I lived in England for 2 years. I never dealt with this type of crap from any of my friends there.

While I agree PVP is essential in this mod... You didn't have to be such a dick on this post. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Thesreyn you really need to relax. I never said that this wasn't alpha, and I acknowledged that in my first post. Then you rant about us "entitled little shits" Like I said, I've played Arma and Arma 2 for years now, I know the score. Arma is the ultimate sandbox game. I'm not one of these guys that just bought the game to play this mod. All I was trying to do was put forth an idea and see if I could get some ideas flowing from the community, not get chastisement from some guy on the internet that thinks he can talk down to everyone else. That being said, I like the ideas that are flowing from you other guys. Maybe missions are a bit too straightforward for some of you....but as one post said....I would like the option to be there to do them or not. That's all.
