I remember my very first run with dayz about 2 years ago. I spawned in and ran into electro. I picked up a double barrel with 3 sets of shells and ran like hell. got shot an hour later but was not going to stop playingand the rest as they say is history. I've got some better stories but for now this is what i will leave it at because most of the post here will be "firsts"

hacker thing. because every player is in arma technically "blufor" a hacker could set the server to different settings having to do with the arma team view options.

yeah dont be like me when i started, because this was my gameplan run straight to a big city, run into the firehouse and get a rifle then run away. go to the store get a backpack and food. mark NWAF on your map, see a bambi and open fire then spend the rest of your life (10 minutes or so) killing anything in the city. Now if i spent at the east end of the coast i run up to zelenegosk and towns leading up to it. then go to NWAF and set up a base. If im playing epoch i grab food and anything i can find and sprint to starry trader. setting up a life of luxury in northern chenarus with a rifle and axe and a car. many hours of dwelling on my pc later a small base with a safe and a combolock garage door

whenever a new mod for dayz comes out we recruit a single person only for them to never call us on skype then we go and loot farm and base up with people you know will never leave your group, because you know them personally or you keep promising that prized lapuna.

if you have this set up on your comuputer and are willing to do this Set your data back to a previous system update. PCs can be reset to before any system update inase your computer gets fucked. save all your files to a couple of thumbdrives or a portable hard drive and set it back to before the issue. then re-add your stuff re-download arma and dayz and it should work edit: this is only a last chance thing, it will reset all your stuff form after the update you choose to reset it too. I only used this once for my brother when he accidentally chaned every file on his laptop into a .Txt file

nice but reduce your graphics a little so that the frames are better. id rater have a balance so that it dosent look good but feel slow.

the epoch server i play on has a good way to counteract that, there are only a few vehicles more than vanilla dayz, so that is a not a good way to make money. The second is the modified trader system. The only unit of currency is gold, 10oz gold and breifcases. So the buying prices are real high because the lowest unit is gold an example would be the SVD camo would cost 7 10oz golds and only sells for 5 gold. So it takes real work to get loaded in the server like a guy i played with Toph he has 134 full breifcases he and his group are dedicated to the server and like to demonstrate their power. Toph goes to starry with his AA-12 with explosive rounds and takes out the water tower. The only way to get really stocked it to do the missions and get stuff from them.

Everyone should have their character as their profile picture, KoS should be in black and white and his weapon should be a pistol, Captian IS terry crews, Gews could be there doing something with numbers, A ponny with a clipboard etc. Can a hero run around in the back of the battle bloodbagging all fallen Bronies, and they call for a medic named bravo? I'm 15 and my group could use a vet. We have 2 people from britian and 3 from the US. we've all been playing ARMA/dayz for about a year and a half at least each. two of us are in a ACE unit and the others play dayz as our main game. The bigger your group is the better your base is so join us. Skype codybas. We could use your ts3 because one of our members PCs cannot connect to their TS3 so we have had to use skype. We mostly play on weekends because that is when there is a higher chance of us all being on at the same time.
