I can approve of all your points ecxept shooting people because that's what everyone else does. You have to keep playing nice yourself or else you'll just pass on shooting on sight. Good text though.

That's the thing.You'll always be able to do something about it if they try anything. And you could just have told him that you wanted to go on your own.

1. I got shot the first time because I was in a hospital and a guy suddenly appeared and I looked at him without doing anything. When he started firing I just took his bullets without trying to escape, while asking him why he was acting like that. Second time someone just popped me while running in cherno. They would have had no reason for shooting me whatsoever. 2. I shoot guys myself thats not the point. And there's no challenge in killing an unarmed player compared to a fully stocked player in CoD. Be reasonable. 3. Well you just shoot him if he tries any of that. It should be easy to keep him under control since you are armed and he is not. DayZ differs from other games because you can get that player interaction and I want that. You'll only breed more KoS'ers by acting like you're saying. 4. No it doesn't. If you have been shooting a lot around people without killing them, your chances of getting hero skin will decrease. 5. You say you know my PvP because you know that I got killed when I was unarmed? That's ridiculess. You know nothing of my PvP.

Yeah that's fair, you'll probably die more frequently and I accept that. I'm just objecting to killing unarmed players. Why not take up the challenge and shoot at someone who can actually shoot back?

Never heard of bluescreen of death for the commander or anything like that. The only flaw I've found is that it can put you in a wrong server. Can you play other games ? Sounds like a severe problem. My guess is it may be hardware related or driver related.

True. But that can be defended as long as you do not shoot bambies or betray players. Once in a while you just gotta shoot some players for fun man ;)

Yeah, but still where's the sport in shooting unarmed players? And I want to interact with players (it isn't fun as a singleplayer game) and that means entering those zones. Hmm. Maybe I should try to find a decent whitelisted server and bring my squad there.

I think you were just unlucky and must have been joining a lot of emty servers. But it's true that a lot of the activity is reserved for Elektro, Cherno and Stary Sobor.

You can look forward for the standalone, when being friendly will be more amusing. I find it sad that friendlies are a dying race and I would want more people to act friendly. That said, Bandits are a part of the game and without them the game experience would decrease dramatically to be a kinda bad game actually. Be a bandit, it's fine really. I'll say there's three rules for being a "good" bandit though. 1. Obviously: Do NOT hack. 2. Don't shoot unarmoured bambies!! Unless of course, they try to steal out of your bag. 3. Do not tell that you are friendly when you are obviously a bandit. I'd say if you have been acting friendly for more than half an hour, then you've lost your right to betray. That's just cruel.

You can easily find a map and a pistol. And you both spawn at the beaches, so you can just run along the coast untill you reach each other. You can use this map to navigate http://dayzdb.com/map.

When one day I started as a fresh spawn and geared up that quickly that it didn't make me as sad to have lost all my stuff. It isn't as "fatal" to die anymore, I'll quickly be on my way. Also, joining a bambie server one day realising that I had way more experience :P

A lot of players often means a lot of hackers. So you should make sure it has some sort of anti hack and an admin dedicated to finding and banning hackers from the server. Like the "Scimfaxis Hunting Ground with AntiHax" above has....

I can aprove of Scimfaxi's server. Just been playing in the last couple of days. Seems decent..... Also I like the fact that you took the time to give all the information Scimfaxi. lol :P
