If you can live with a game that's even more buggy and imbalanced than the mod, then go ahead and buy it. If not then wait untill summer with buying it. By then it'lll definitly blow all other survival games off the market.

I was playing as a fresh spawn today. I was in a hero skin and i was unarmoured and had nothing of value on me. I got shot 2 times within 10mins. Why do people play DayZ like it was call of duty? Why do people feel the need to shoot a player who cannot harm oneself? And what is a hero skin worth if you get shot on sight regardless? I'm not saying you shouldn't play as a bandit. They are what makes this game good. Just be reasonable. This is just written in a hope that just some default skin players would consider keeping their hands of the trigger and just think for a sec. Hopefully players will have changed their play style when the standalone comes. Cheers!

I have no problem with people running amok killing people, if that's how they want to play. Unless they are unarmed, that is. (or use hacks)

Well there's no need to assume that the unarmed player is up to do damage. That's why you shouldn't shoot him. But if he does you could just shoot him. And if he's just being a nuisance tell him to go away - after all you are the man with a gun.

1. And you could have shot me at any point if I tried anything. People are too afraid of that sort of stuff. 2. I wasn't. If I was though I would have given you the right to shoot me. But why assume before it even happens? 3. True. But they can't help you either. 4. Dude seriously your fear of unarmed players is overrated. And violence breeds violence. 5. That's just garbage.

It's just because people play AS they would do in those games. Of course not every CoD/BF player will be a KoS.

You can see people arguing that KoS is the right way to play on this topic as well. Hopefully there will be some changes to gameplay in the future that might force more people to act differently. Although you can never get completely free of douche bags.

You can just shoot the damn unarmed player if he tries anything that might harm you. But chances are that he won't be a nuisance to you, so why shoot? It's not like he will turn dangerous in an instant. Then it's your own fault for not stopping him, you'll have plenty of time. And you meeting a KoS who was a noob isn't an argument for being a KoS as well. You might not be as lucky as you were every time and thus face a noob.

I'm sorry, but if you can't control the situation when you meet an unarmed player, experienced or not, then you're quite bad at the game. In regards to the KoS i agree,
