Don't count on getting a good FPS because you've got a good PC. The Standalone still seriously needs optimizing. The FPS people get is unstable and unreliable. If you play on lowest graphics you still shouldn't count on getting a FPS higher than 40

There's probably still a lot of fresh spawns running around the coast. If you go to the far north you will notice a lot of new small towns have been added.

Pathfinding is much better. The AI is clearly a lot more intelligent and the zombies will keep tracking you down if you've got them agro'ed.

My first encounter was a guy with a kitchen knife running up to me, but it was a very friendly encounter and I helped him tear his rags for bandages :) I like the friendliness of the standalone, but you guys point out the bad encounters :(

It will take a long time for your to turn because your character needs to turn its body with proper animations. You'll see it's no problem if you try to run and turn. also you might have a look into your mouse dpi settings if you are not fond of turning movements with your mouse. Checking settings will be a good idea too :)

You will not get it for free under any circumstance just as you wouldn't get Mirror's edge 2 because you had BF4. Also the dev team has many members which haven't been working on that game with Bohemia. But you should be happy cause the game is very cheap on steam compared to other releases.
